Wonderful staff and selection.

I went into this furniture shop yesterday and browsed for about a few minutes, alone, while the sale associates were upstairs helping others. After not being helped, I decided to leave and return tomorrow to purchase the couch I had picked out on my own. When I returned to the shop I had just got out of class and needed to use their restroom, so I walked into the shop ,and headed right to the bathroom. When I came out of the bathroom, I see a lady outside of the washroom waiting for me all pissed with her phone out waiting to take pictures of me. I asked her what she was doing and says” you are banned for using our employee restroom and I am taking pictures for future references in case you return” . There were no signs on the door of the bathroom stating that it was an “employee bathroom” , no locks on door. Wouldn’t you think the restroom was customer privilege as well? No warning or nice greet to find out what I wanted, she just threw me out because I guess she thought I was just a student and had no salary. I get it, looks can be deceiving and my Swiss bag pack doesn’t say “rich”,my eyes bags from being up late at night and up early in the mornings don’t me look attractive enough for her shop, but I am more than capable of purchasing furniture for my home. I don’t give a damn that she banned me, I feel bad for the sales associates who could have gotten the commission if she had just been patient or kind enough about what brought me into the store. Let this be a lesson for her to not judge students or people who are minority unlike her.

Excellent service. We bought a beautiful Hyper dining table and could not be happier with the service we received from the staff at the Toronto Calligaris store. They were a joy to work with. Thank you to Lara Himsl and everyone else who made our purchase successful.

A great store with a wide selection and staff. Their sales representative, Yana, is excellent at her job. Every time we come to the store, she helps us from A to Z. She always has a friendly smile and assists us in buying the right items instead of trying to make sales. Thank you, Yana!
