We came here for a water heater after having looked at several different places. We found the prices in the service here to be excellent. They were able to arrange to have a plumber call us within an hour to see if we wanted a water heater installed right away. It seems that the water heater is about half the cost or less than half the total cost. We chose the cheapest smallest water heater but the total cost was almost $1,400 because. However I think that that's just the way the cost to run these days. Overall I found the service to be good in the prices to be reasonable as well.

A couple years ago, I didn't like visiting here. The staff ignored people and if you did ask a question, they seemed to be in a hurry. Fast forward to now and the staff seem knowledgable and eager to help. Gone are the days when they seemed to be more interested in taking to each other or playing on their phone. They are actually there to serve the customer now.

Home depot is home depot. It is how it is. I'm used to it. I can find what I need faster than most store associates, it's nice cause if I simply say I don't need help, then I am left alone. The store has some long time employees that are very knowledgeable and help especially in the electrical and plumbing departments, and then also has associates that it's better to say, I don't need any help but thanks for asking.

Well... it’s a Home Depot. If you are not interested in really getting out and sourcing marginally less expensive items from wholesalers and more commercial focused businesses then it is one of the places for you! Along with most of the other large home improvement chains. Service is generally decent- staff are fairly on point with addressing customer concerns and checking to see if assistance is required. As with all large stores when there is an intense rush or very busy time of day it becomes slightly more difficult to obtain assistance. The selection is very nice and the items online have always corresponded very well with real in store locations. Often if items are slightly damaged or you are purchasing in bulk it is possible to negotiate small discounts- I find this incredibly attractive as a customer, actually. And of course they price match as well. And on top the employees are at the very least generally quite book knowledgeable with a majority of products. A definite solid choice for any DIY’er or small business.

I've hired a few contractors through Home Depot- flooring, cabinets, counter tops. The cabinet guys opened the door to our backyard which didn't have a door stop so the handle put a big indent in the wall. There was no reason to open the back door and they ended up coming back about a MONTH later to fix the wall. Also, a bunch of cabinet doors were missing so for that it took about a month to get in, which was extremely frustrating since we are selling this house and trying to get it off our hands as soon as possible. The guy who did our laminate flooring left a BUNCH of floor scraps on our front walkway, and left a roll of underlay in our house, plus didn't clean up any of the dust that got everywhere. Not pleased with Home Depot contractors at all. However the store itself has good selection and prices. You can return pretty much anything that didn't work out for you.
