Fabulous hosts, spa is great, the Space around the chalets is great. Chalets are amazing. I would suggest more variety for breakfast espacially if guests stay several days.

Renate and Wolfgang are amazing people, and their house and their hospitality are wonderful. They make amazing food, and both of them are so welcoming and fun to be around. The cabins and house are beautiful, and so are the views you get from the trail. We got to see the lights each night, and the guide that was there each night was so wonderful with waking everyone up and taking pictures for us. They also drove us to and from the airport, which was so helpful. Such an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone!

First let's say Renate and Wolfgang were beyond great hosts. As the owners, they were awesome and completely accessible. The meals they prepared were culinary top shelf! The cabins were extremely nice. Our experience was beyond 5 star!!

Had a great experience here with my parents in February 2018 on an Aurora package. Wolfgang and Renate are fantastic hosts who treated us like family from the outset. The work really hard to make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone is happy. The meals were fabulous, hearty and home-style served at a communal table with other guests. This created a real sense of community and comradery among the guests which was lovely. Our travel agent did not inform Renate about a food allergy but she was able to accommodate that at the last minute (thanks Renate) Our cabin was cozy with a nice bath room and was fitted with everything we needed including a comfy pull away bed for a third sleeper in our cabin. We had a lovely massage included in our package. It was so good we went back for a second one (this time hot stones and it was superb!) Special mention to Nico who took us on many of our tours. Despite having only arrived I Whitehorse this season he was interesting and very knowledgeable about the area and it's wildlife. He also spent a lot of time setting up cameras and teaching guests how to take the best photos of the lights that their cameras would allow. He also makes a mean hot chocolate in the teepee! The lights set up is really well done. A lovely teepee complete with fire pit and hot drinks protects you from elements while you wait for the lights to come out. The night guide watching for the lights and banging on the cabin doors (for those who request it) is a really nice touch as it allows for a decent night's sleep! We preferred to sit up with Nico and Wolfgang but those who wanted sleep didn't miss out! All in all we had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it to anyone!

This place was truely amazing. The experience was made perfect by all aspects of our experience. Wolfgang and his wife were very accommodating to myself, wife and our son. Our meals (continental breakfast, optional lunch and three course dinner) were all exceptional, the the flavours sensational (even being vegetarian they made some awesome dishes for myself). Sitting outside in the night in the Tipi (Teepee) under the the northern nights drinking hot chocolates and eating a marshmallows was absolutely unreal. Plus the owners took us on a wild life tour where we saw some pretty cool animals. This place is a must do for your bucket list
