Design Kitchens & Counter Tops R.S. Ltd

I had Design Kitchen install new kitchen approx 10 years ago. Not cheap $38,000.00 for cabinets. My counter top only last three years before starting to show wear. They would do nothing. Now I am looking at replacing the counter top. I have been dealing them with the for last 8 weeks. Jackie the sales rep - does not know her job and she is not very customer orientated - very stand offish. Came over to my house and provided me a quote for counters that could not be installed. I finally asked for a tech - who said he would figure something out and get back to me - then he never called. When I called them to follow up - they didn't seem to care. The poorest service ever and it is not like I haven't already invested in the company. I do not recommend this company at all. The response from the owner is not true. I had Design Kitchens come to my house to look at my counter tops three years after installation and was told they could do nothing about it as it was the fault of the laminate company and they would not guarantee the work. Second: I had your estimator come to my house recently to provide a quote and even though some concerns were brought to her attention with the installation of the granite I was assured there would be no problems. Experience told me to get an installer over to look at the situation before ordering. The installer was scheduled for Friday but did not show up or call. The following Monday they came over and advised me the granite I wanted on my island was going to be a problem and there was no way they would be able to install it as the price quoted. They would also need to modify my current cabinets to be able to install granite if it could be installed at all. The installer than advised me he would check into the modifications that were needed and a new quote and get back to me. On Friday (four days later) I had received no phone calls - no information with regard to the installation or the quote. When I called your company to get information - I was told the installer was out and nobody else new anything. I was advised I could leave my name and number and the installer "Might" be able to get back to me the following Monday. When I advised the person I was talking to that I needed to get this information so I could make a decision as all the other contractors had been lined up - I was advised to go else where. You are wondering where my bad feelings are coming from - this is the poorest customer service I can think of. Given the fact that I returned to your company even after having trouble in the past - I had expected more. I would not even rate a 1 star if that was an option

I found Jackie to have been extremely helpful and professional. She went beyond expectations in helping to create our new and improved kitchen and bathrooms. She helped give decorative advice beyond the job requirements . The actual kitchen installers were excellent to work with and did a very nice job.

I have a gorgeous quartz top on my island from design kitchen. The installation was fast and professional and came in under quoted price! I couldn't be happier and look forward to doing the remainder of my kitchen!

I've found the staff at design kitchen to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of countertops and cabinets to order and do what they say when they say they will. I've been very impressed with their craftsmanship and would recommend them to anyone needing a kitchen to call Jackie and the team.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Was quoted $45 to cut countertop & bill ended up being just shy of $300. Needless to say I refused to pay and now im out my countertop material. Terrible experience.
