I had the opportunity to intern under Modern Design’s amazing Interior Designer, Amber. Through my internship, I witnessed her amazing customer service and passion to help clients bring their dreams to life! The entire staff is incredibly hard working, driven, and fun to work with! I cannot speak enough about their quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. If you are looking for remodel or new build services, Modern Design is the best in town.

July 25, 2016 Dear Nate and Craftsmen/ Craftswomen of Modern Design, I wanted to write a brief note from Heidi, TJ and myself thanking Modern Design for the wonderful cabinet craftsmanship and service. This was our first experience ever with “custom anything” and we were not sure what to expect besides a large cash outlay. With that being said, we couldn’t be happier with the finished product and how our lower level space will be such a meaningful family area for years to come! From the onset, Nate was diligent, receptive and creative during the design process. He offered great suggestions and solutions to the existing space and the results speak for themselves! Nate was regularly available to answer questions and able to adjust our install dates multiple times on our behalf. The installation team made their installing the least bit stressful too. They were conscientious in their install as if it was their own residence. They were respectful and even allowed me to watch as they let their expertise go to work. The time it took to install both the bookcase and entertainment wall was exactly what Nate and the installers expected to it to be. No surprises. I have had many techs, installers, trades people in my home in the past and the most irritating thing for me is that these people a) are essentially strangers, you have to establish trust with them in your home, b) don’t start/complete it when they say they will, or, c) they don’t always treat it like it is their home, oftentimes leave garbage, debris or whatever. With this team, besides the new cabinetry, the lower level space was cleaner than prior to their arrival! Lastly, please extend my gratitude to teams that designed, measured, cut, glued, screwed, assembled, stained and packaged up our pieces. I know there’s a lot that goes on behind the scene. The entire look is consistent, has a durable and professional look, and is everything we came to expect with a custom experience. Without that team, it wouldn’t have mattered how well Nate and the installers did on the front and back end. So please extend my thanks to them as well. Thank you to Nate, the teams mentioned above and any others behind the scenes that made the Modern Design experience memorable! We have beautiful furniture for our family to make memories with for so many years to come, we couldn’t be happier! Jim, Heidi, and TJ Plymouth, MN

Modern Design worked with us on a project for our church (Family of Christ Lutheran in Chanhassen). They designed and built a coffee station, storage bins and closets, and updated some counter tops and window sills around our gathering areas and sanctuary. The workmanship, customer service throughout the process and attention to detail was impressive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company and its product. Thank you Troy and Jo! Best Regards, Marilyn Syverson Church Administrator

We have purchased two custom desks from Modern Design Cabinetry over the last three years and they both turned out beautifully. They are easy to work with and installation was a breeze. I would highly recommend them!
