Now that are kitchen is installed I felt it important to provide a review and a reason why I gave two stars based on our experience. The design process was rather difficult because we were dealing with a "green" designer. I understand that we all start somewhere, however, it made for a longer process in finalizing the design but none the less it did come together. When installation took place we were left with an unfinished kitchen for months! Not all cupboards were in at the time of install nor was the hardware, a cupboard door was the incorrect size and one of the dishwasher aprons didn't even touch the ground on one side. Finishing doors on the sides of cabinets were hung incorrectly. The paint of a router edge was not painted so we saw raw wood. The third time that the installers came (the second was to install the rest of the hardware and doors) they told us that the pull out that houses the knife, utensil full size cupboard drawer (very heavy) was not installed correctly and the entire drawer could have pulled out and dropped on our toes! Thank goodness we asked why it wasn't opening evenly. There were numerous errors beyond what was detailed above and when they were contacted about correcting them they were less than pleasant to deal with. The lady that you deal with for your deposit and payment was completely rude and miserable to deal with right from the very first conversation and any conversation there after was just as rude and miserable. I was recommended by a friend who is a local developer for residential development, however, I have to say I will not be returning to do any future projects nor would I recommend them.

Shopping for my dream kitchen to go in my new home, i went to four kitchen shops. Three were great to deal with and so friendly, Excel was the exact opposite. Rude, no time to even answer a few questions, and this is trying to get a sale on a very expensive kitchen job, i can't imagine how bad they would be if I had used them, once the money was handed over. During the planning stages of my dream home i called or went to about 80 businesses to get information and hire many, excel was by far the worst of them all, not just the worst kitchen place.

Excel designed, built, and installed a double sink vanity for our master en suite renovation. The design was fun and easy with Laura and the install and quality of cabinets speak to this business as a whole. You really do get what you pay for, and my vanity is the Cadillac of vanities.

Great design and product. I can always count on excel to complete every last aspect of the job without chasing them down.

Rose and the great Staff worked hard for us in the small window they had. We love our new look at the Salon.
