Counters Only with Kitchen Craft

We love our Kitchen, can't thank you guys enough. Amazing service with amazing people

These people did our kitchen about 8 years ago and there were far too many issues. It wasn't all bad but we'll go elsewhere next time. On the plus side: * They did a good job of the demolition and provided a contact that bought our old cabinets. * Mastercraft cabinetry is well built, looks good and has aged well. The hardware we went with (buffered drawer closures etc.) are great. The problems: * We asked for the same layout as the original cabinets, the designer used what I can only guess were the manufacturers standard dimensions and did not discuss it with us. Our upper cabinets did not have the depth of the originals and therefore less storage space. * Design graphic provided to us indicated the pantry cabinet facing should be flush with the fridge but the install was counter depth leaving the fridge protruding. The designer said that was what we speced, which did not make any sense. They were forced to rebuild them when confronted with our copy of the design mockup. * Designer forgot to make provision for under-cabinet lighting (also on the design mockup) and when the subject was brought up with another employee, it was essentially ignored to meet the install date. * Marble countertop for a peninsula feature was miscut (or mismeasured) and a new piece had to be ordered (10 day delay). * Installer dropped an upper cabinet which broke a piece off of the veneer on the underside, he attempted to repair it with some filler but never mentioned it to us. A friend noticed it before we did, it looked like amateur hour and again they had to come back and rebuild the section. * Installer failed to build a duct for a 5" heating vent under the sink enclosure which wasn't discovered until well after it was plumbed and final payment was made thus they did not repair it. HVAC blew hot/cold air into the back of the cabinetry which screwed up distribution to the rest of the house, major fail. *The job was paid 90% ahead of install and demand letters for final payment arrived well before deficiencies and the job were complete. All the problems resulted in delays that left our kitchen out of commission for weeks longer than necessary. Overall not a great experience, we'll know better next time.

As a builder here in Kamloops, there is no Kitchen company I recommend more than Counters Only with Kitchen Craft. They have been incredible for every customer that I have sent.
