Our kitchen was installed several years ago and it looked lovely. However we are having issues with the finished coat wearing off, along with a pantry door that has split and several other doors and cabinets where splitting is starting. Most of the finish on the kickboards is also coming off. I have contacted Charles several times via email, no response. We did have water damage to a pantry which Charles did come and look at. Now he is blaming all the damage on this issue. I had reported issues long before the damage to one cabinet. I just telephoned him because he was not responding to my email. He now says he would not touch our kitchen because of previous water damage. I am not at all pleased with his refusal to even come look at the issues. He practically hung up on me saying he was really busy and to try him later. I asked when to contact and he said he didn't know. We paid alot of money to him for what I expected to be good quality work and to stand by his products. I would advise caution when dealing with his company and warranty.

Where do I start when Charles was given the job he started to become very touchy when we questioned him on anything and when we discussed warranty he told us about Mrs zwicker in Lunenburg and how he goes there one a year to do touch ups for her and made us think that we would be treated the same. However this has not been our experience he did send his men here to do some repairs after we waited over a year then we were told that the $400 garbage can holder was broken and waranty does not cover when they break ? and when the men left they told us to call them when we were ready to list our house for sale and they would come and do some touch ups to make the Charles Lantz kitchen look it's best. When my wife called today to request this service for which we were willing to pay for Charles became upset instantly thinking we were just looking for a freebie and told her that the worker who told us to call for this service does not own the company ,he does ,charles was rude and unprofessional thru out the entire conversation .So if you plan on paying 30 thousand dollars plus for a kitchen ask for warranty in writing and be prepared to deal with a very moody owner (so please don't hurt his feelings) ...Now as far as the men who actually build and install the cabinets you will not find a better or more professional group of highly skilled cabinet makers ,
