⚡️⚡️⚡️ ATTENTION POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS ⚡️⚡️⚡️ PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW CAREFULLY BEFORE SELECTING SPECTRUM FOR ANY OF YOUR KITCHEN RENOVATION IVATION NEEDS !! I am baffled at the 5 star rating this company has received . My only justification for their rating is that they must not come from accurate or real customers . There is only one way to describe my experience with spectrum & I can do so in one word ; Appalling ! In August of 2017 I renovated my kitchen . It cost me upwards of $12,000 . Understandably , I am not their biggest project - however , for a hard working single family , it is a considerable amount money . Showroom : that's where they initially get you . The showroom is absolutely beautiful . Never the less , our sales associate ran late for her meeting . Installation : after making a large deposit (50%) up front , we were given a promised start date . This was pushed back . As a result , this created a domino affect with other contractors who were hired to install my back splash , counter tops & electrical .. Post installation : there were scratches & chipped paint . Some cabinets weren't even aligned correctly or weren't soft close as ordered . Maintenance : several appointments were cancelled , times were changed without considerable notice & one appointment was completely missed all together with ZERO communication ; they just never showed . I'm not sure what's more infuriating having to call the company to do your own leg work or the fact that i had to take (unpaid) time off work to accommodate these appointments .. they had absolutely no regard for my time - nor did they seem too apologetic . Post maintenance : the colour and textures of paint do not match . It's very obvious where the defects were . There are still gaps where cocking was left unfinished . 3 months later : my cabinets are separating from the ceiling (a complete eyesore) . Contact and photos were sent to spectrum on NOVEMBER 22nd . On December 3rd I finally received communication advising me of a "push back" .. a pushback on my warranty ?! As a result , a liaison contracting company would be sent to our home . I never heard from either company after that . On December 12th I took matters into my own hands & called the manager Steve . Dealing with management : my most horrifying experience to date . As you can imagine , I am unbelievably frustrated at this point in time .. I call to advise him of my situation ; there is tension in my voice . I am angered & feeling neglected . During our conversation , it becomes very clear that my small $12,000 renovation is nothing to them . It's barely even a transaction . Rather than empathize with my frustration & provide a solution , Steve (with an aggressive and stand-off-ish tone) provided me with excuses & placed blame on the structure of my home . I was amazed he was able to evaluate my situation without even a photo . After a rebuttal on my end , I was promised a return phone call the same day : I'm still waiting ...

Went to Spectrum this weekend with my husband to talk with someone about options, we walked around the store and stood at the front door with NO ONE coming to greet us, the only individual there sat at his computer with earphones on, not very good for business
