Cabinetry Concepts

We wanted new cabinet doors and drawer fronts made for an existing bathroom vanity and linen closet. We were assured that this was an area that they could do well, so we signed a contract to have the project done. The process was painfully slow, six weeks to get eight doors and three drawer fronts made. When we finally went in to pick them up we could tell right away that the color was too light. Our salesperson convinced us to take them home and give them a try and we did. Well, the color was off and four of the doors would not close properly when installed because they were too wide, plus we noticed a deep scratch on one of the doors frames and the drawer fronts were darker in color than all the doors. We contacted our salesperson and he asked to come to our home so he could determine what the fitment problem is and also take another sample for a better stain color match. He took the entire project with him when he left to have it reworked. You would think that Cabinetry Concepts would have put this rework at a higher priority but it was nearly a month before the project was ready to be picked up again. On 6-30-17 I went to the shop to pick the project up again and I was shocked to see my doors and drawer fronts laying on a cart, stacked on top of each other without any protection. I mentioned that the shade of the stain color is darker than before, but the drawer fronts were still darker. All the salesperson could say was "l don't know why they can't get the doors the same shade" I paid nearly $900.00 for this small project and feel it was nothing more than an expensive experiment, I get it back without the previous damage being addressed and now dusty doors and additional damage to a different door and a drawer front is scratched up. Again, on 7-7-17 the salesperson came to my home to pick up two doors and one drawer front to take back to the shop and address the previous and additional damages. They still have these items at the time of this review. It is my opinion that Cabinetry Concepts was not up to the challenges of this project and certainly didn't show any care of the handling of the rework. I would have hoped that the salesperson would have at least looked it over to make sure things were corrected before letting us know it was ready and having me drive all the way out there to pick it up. Needless to say we were planning on having Cabinetry Concepts do our kitchen, but instead I will be looking elsewhere. I will update this review to show the final outcome of this project when the rework/repairs are done.
