I would post 5 stars but I worked here for 3 weeks and never got paid. Went into the office and was told "you will get an email within 2 days with information". I never recieved anything. 3 weeks of 12 hour days for worked for free. Been getting advice on what to do next about the situation.

Based on the research (and I've done extensive research on similar "businesses" and scams) I've done and information I've come across, this business is just another multilevel marketing scheme, which is just a barely-legal pyramid scheme. Avoid completely for both employment and if they try to sell you anything. In general, don't buy anything from shady door-to-salesmen, since they tend to be affiliated with scam companies like this one.

I want to start this off by saying that the only people that are giving this company 5 stars are the people who are working for them who are trying to recruit more people into this pyramid scheme. DON’T fall for any positive ratings. Got a call for an interview- I asked what the starting wage is or if pay is commission, the girl on the phone told me “Um so yeah, it’s about half” (commission/hourly), so I said okay, what’s the breakdown of that roughly? She said “about $700-1200 biweekly). Okay so is it $700 or $1200? What’s the commission percentage? If there is an hourly rate, what is it? Weird, onto the next question. I asked “what does the job entail? (Responsibilities, hours/wk, expectations, etc??) “What?” Asks the employee. I reply with “What would my day look like if I worked for you? What would I do/ what are some responsibilities associated with the position?” She responds with “Addella works with major companies within the city”. Not what I asked but okay. Basically, I was left with absolutely no answers to ANY of the basic questions I asked. I still don’t understand what or how I’d be doing. If you’re not a pyramid scheme, maybe hire somebody who can answer very simple straight forward answers because with such vague responses, it seems like your company is a joke. Employees SHOULD know how much exactly they’re making per hour OR what the commission percentage is. **I also never applied for this job, I just randomly got called on my cell phone.

Never worked for the company, but seeing the “Managing Partner” of this entity being Danielle, not surprised by the negative reviews. She used to run Vaeo Marketing in Vaughan, ripped people off of Bell services and skipped town to London, Ont and probably tried to do the same thing. I see now that the London office is now closed.

I used to work for addella just want to point out as some have already done so, 100% of the positive reviews are from current employees - as they make you write positive reviews of the company. I myself was told to do so. The whole interview and recruiting process is a total use of manipulation and straight up lies. This company hires anybody and everybody as they dont pay the people they "hire" its strictly 100% commission and they rates and set up are outrageous to say the least. Your not an employee but rather an independent contractor. You're expected to work for 12 hours a day going door to door selling inferior products. The culture is that of a cult where the people in the office are totally brainwashed into thinking there's opportunity to open your own office. I dont k ow how they are able to do what they do. It's a legit pyramid scheme.
