As a small business owner I have been paying extreme amounts of money over the years to that yellow book, you know what I am talking about, the rip offs. After meeting with Matt from reach local, who was just a great person/ as that is very important in developing any business relationship, he showed and explained how the advertising would work explicitly, he made no promises. It was not very long when the program was up and running and we were getting a lot more calls. With those calls came new business, why we advertise. After a number of months we decided to add another area to our current one and it did well. So the question is, Why Are You Not Calling Reach Local? There is no long contract, the money is reasonable, you can possibly increase your sales and get your name out there! I would recommend them to any business.

I signed up with Reach Local after being told they can improve our Google Adwords by getting better results and being able to analyze and optimize them better. Turns out all they did was run pretty much the same CPC keywords through Google and charge me more for them. They even ran a keyword in the name of my company, which comes up #1 in Google organic anyway. Why would I want to pay them a premium on that keyword when the customer clearly already knows of my company. I ended up having the last month of my contract switched (because they would cancel it, even though I was completely unsatisfied) to a banner re-marketing campaign and that ended up being even more of a joke. I was told I could not see where my ads were being served, but then after poking around in our account online I found an area that is suppose to give you this information. I tried to run the report and it and ended up giving me an error basically saying there is no information. I called my rep on it and he basically had no answer for it, literally, he gave me nothing, no explanation at all. I could go into great detail but the bottom line is, if you already control your own Google ads you probably know your company, keywords and industry better than them. They do offer call recording which I can see might benefit smaller companies but we already have call recording so it was of no benefit to me. These guys are a huge company based out of Texas and I get the feeling all they want is to lock you into a contract and get your money. My suggestion... there are plenty of much better local companies that are more flexible and much easier to work with.

When I first started using reachlocal I truly didn't realize the presence they had in the local market. Regardless of the company I promote, ReachLocal has the campaigns and assistance to help me out... anytime, anywhere. I highly recommend their services and products. Professional, efficient and effective!
