I'm just looking to get a price. I need to purchase and have a remote starter put in my car. 2006 ford focus wagon automatic transmission .just want something that I can start it remotely and have it warmed up on cold mornings. Just a ball park estimate

Used to be my go to place to take all my vehicles to get remote starters installed... That's not the case anymore. I recently had a remote starter reinstalled that was uninstalled, which was originally installed by Trimline. The starter ended up not fully functioning to it's original state as the accessories and dash were not lit while being remote started. I found this defeated the whole purpose of having a remote start because the heat/cooling and fan were not on till I hopped in the car and hit either the brakes or the push start button. More about the issue of the vehicle: The remote start was removed by my dad because the remote start caused a battery draw that would kill the battery if the car was not driven frequently. I wanted the remote start hooked back up after buying the vehicle off my parents. I understand that Iasity doesn't cover warranty for the original install that had all the existing roughed in wires still there. Yes, there is a lot to go wrong with when my dad removed the remote start years ago to the time Iasity hooked it back up as there is a large window (and who's to say my dad unhooked everything properly). I came in yesterday to try and book an appointment and they required to charge me a minimum of $100 again just to look at the problem, the price of hooking up the remote start was $100 as well. I found that a bit ridiculous as I spoke with Ian earlier on the weekend as it came to his attention about my issues (which when I spoke to him on the phone about how it could be a missing accessory wire hooked up or a blown fuse after researching) and he wasn't being helpful at all and wanted me to look at the issue first before I even rebook on the phone. It's like they don't want anything to do with customers and their vehicles after they send them out. I don't know why the car was sent out to me in the first place if the accessories and dash never worked. If you're going to charge me an insane fee just for looking at my car where it should have been tested to make sure that was working before calling me to say it's ready for pick up, I'm going to take my vehicle elsewhere. I'll actually go to a shop that will back up their work and be useful when I address problems.
