This company over complicates, takes forever to figure out of solutions and doesn't care about resident well being. I am a tenant to a building that leaked last spring. Overall the situation I was in was very unfortunate due to a number of parties but Williams Engineering's did not contribute to making the ordeal any less painlful. The engineers were constantly coming in and out of our building sometimes without 24 hours notice even though they had already taken notes and pictures. The problem was actually as simple as waterproofing the roof and deck but the engineers made it so much more complicated. They were talking about changing the roof structure, having a 9 phase plan in place and so on. Something that could probably have been done in a few weeks is still ongoing a year later. My BEDROOM wall that faces the outside was literally nothing more then the outside shell of the bulding with no insulation. After months of complaining about the cold they finally put up blue styrofoam on the wall but it did little to mitigate the wind from sucking the warmth out of my room. During the winter my room was rarely warming than 15C while getting as cold as 10C, that I was aware of it may have been colder. When they finally decided to hold a meeting for all of the residents in the building that they were working on, they gave everyone one days notice so no one could make it because of their own work (talking to other residents they feel the same way as I do). I was one of the only residents that was able to make it and the engineer just talked to me like I was in elementary and never really explained what they were planning on doing to solve the problem only what they thought t the problem was. All that needed to be done was applying water and ice to the roof and deck then finishing the inside of the building, instead I've contantly dealt with people who don't know how to do their jobs, leaking bedrooms, a ridiculously high heating bill and unfinished projects taking up the whole property this past year. Sad thing is I could say more.
