Significant errors and unauthorized changes doubled my tax rate, leading to an amount owing in the high four figures rather than a return in the low four figures! While it's my responsibility to confirm their work, I relied on their expertise at first, and there was a lot of mess to clean up ... which I'm still doing. Email response rate is poor. While they promised a review of our prior years' taxes, this was delayed until the next calendar year: but first they asked for more payment in order to fulfill the task. FBC may be insightful for farm owners specifically, but for my family's personal income tax preparation, the service was very poor. EDIT: The owner has promised to look into my account, where he'll notice such glaring oversights as FORGETTING TO CLAIM MY RRSP contribution! If this review is still up, it means he hasn't offered me a full or partial refund.

I'm very pleased with fbc and Chris H. They have no issue cleaning up messy work from old accountants. Dealing with government issues is not a problem once you mention fbc. Pleased all around.

Only wish we found FBC sooner! In home service excellent explanations and a reasonable price. Brian is very knowledgeable and has been helpful as our consultant. Office staff are courteous and quick to respond. Would highly recommend this company.
