Ignore the disgruntled former employees writing 1 star reviews. Golder is a great place to work and a great company to do business with.

What? This company is still around? I thought they went completely bankrupt with all those layoffs they had over the years. I guess all those cars you see parked are Intact Insurance employees and maybe people lining up for Tim Hortons downstairs. Golder Associates is going downhill and an incredible rate. Very toxic environment. Find a career elsewhere because yours will be ruined here. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Great place to work. Provides Engineering services in construction, mining, mine waste, waste water, rock mechanics and other environmental services.

Working for this organization was the most terrible experience of my life. All levels of management lack proper management skills and it shows in the morale of their employees. It's a cutthroat environment unlike any other. There have been 1000's of layoffs the past 1-2 years with a lot of the good people gone. If you are looking for a company that values customer service, their people, a positive working environment, a fun working environment, a friendly environment, or even just a place to work without it being dramatic, then you should definitely look elsewhere. I feel terribly bad for the good people that are still 'stuck' within this organization. But I guess some have different thresholds of dealing with a bad employer.
