One of the most unprofessional recruiting companies I've had the unfortunate experience to work with. They reached out to me via LinkedIn. Although my recruiter seemed to not know what the job he was putting me up for entailed I already had plenty of experience and got the role. It was a 6 month contract with a potential for extension. I was loved by the team I worked for and did excellent work for them and my recruiter never once reached out to them to see how I was doing or if they wanted to extend me. He never bothered to inform me the two weeks prior let alone the day before my contract ended that it was coming up nor where I stood with the company. When I called to ask what happened he lied and said they had extended me for two more months and there was a miscommunication. After speaking with the company I was working for to get the story straight Veritaaq then blamed the company for being "last minute" with renewals which is the excuse they used for never contacting me. The consultant I ended up speaking to didn't even have the professionalism to call me when she got to her office but instead called me while she was taking the TTC which cut out a few times. They have no respect for their clients and their livelihood, they are unprofessional, disorganized and liars. I would advise anyone to avoid this consulting firm and ignore their recruiters. I wouldn't wish the trouble I went through on a worst enemy if I had one!

Extremely unprofessional! Complete waste of time. If you are a job seeker, stay away from this agency to represent you.

I had an interview here- It was the probably one of the worse interviews i have done so far. The guy who was interviewing me, was a director and he was white guy. Full of ignorance and ego. I was very uncomfortable with his presence and his questions. I am a professional individual and have high education and years of experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE OF COLOR TO WORK FOR THIS RACIST ORGANIZATION. I could tell, he just didn't like me. I have a psychology background- It took me a few moments to see it. I was asked the following question: 1) How does it feel to be a visible minority in this country? My response was jaw opening and couldn't believe what I was being asked. It was none of his business- But I am a Proud Born Canadian. Living in this country for 30+ years. I was shocked and responded I wish not to answer this highly inappropriate question. I saw he was trying to find things wrong and advising me how my resume needs work. ( LOL Sure Buddy- I have had my resume professionally cleaned u) I wanted out as soon as possible. I exited the interview very quickly. He didn't even want to shake my hand. Not sure, how people are retained in this company. People of color you have been warned. It's unfortunate, we live in a diverse city like Toronto- We still have ignorant racist individuals like him. I do NOT recommend anyone to waste their time. If you are a professional or even trying to find a survival job- DO NOT APPLY HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!
