I first need to disclose that I've worked with MD Tax in the past, so I'm biased here. However, I wanted to share my great experience working with Elliott, who helped prepare my finances, for an application to expand my Canadian corporation into the United States, which was successful. I'm grateful for his persistence in ensuring my full compliance with CRA, even at times when I have lost track of key dates. Finally, I can't say enough about the way he runs his company, offering the level of strategic tax planning that you'll typically find in large accounting firms, made available through his boutique business, all with a personal touch. Thanks.

MD Tax have been taking care of my personal and corporate accounting requirements for the past 3 years. The service I have received has been excellent value for money and the fees are always consistent with prices listed on the website with no surprises. I continue to recommend them to anyone looking for physician accountancy services.

In June of 2016 I began a new job for a small chiropractic practice that had poor record keeping for over ten years. Through word of mouth, I decided to utilize the services of MD Tax to try and get our books current. Elliott walked me through everything and within a week, ten years of poorly mismanaged books were current. Elliott also helped find areas where the practice was hemorrhaging funds with out of date billing cycles. Essentially with MD tax help, the business is doing phenomenal and billing cycles are now operating incredibly smooth. We'll definitely continue to use their services and I strongly recommend them.

Elliott is a true tax professional. I am very pleased with MD Tax and their work. Always on time, efficient and really genuine! I’m in good hands and would highly recommend!

UNPROFESSIONAL. I had a very bad experience with this accountant. He is a full time accountant who works at SLF company. He will seem nice at the beginning but you will soon figure out the reality. He has no time for his customers. He does not provide direct phone number. He is not available on weekends. Once you sign the contract, he will keep calling you, emailing you and searching for any reason to ask for more money. If you refuse to pay he will prevent your access to all your transactions and refuse to do any more work. Then he will take you to court. He wanted to charge me extra $500. He will keep calling your office and will talk to your staff in a very bad manner. I switched to an accountant now who I have his cell phone for any urgent questions, very easy to reach and who also comes for business meetings near my place.TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOME WHERE ELSE. ......I would like to add that he contacted me recently through his lawyer to offer court settlement with a condition that I remove that post. I refused the offer as I would like to practice my rights and warn other doctors (ready to share this email in that post if Mr. Stone does not remember). ....I want to comment on Mr. Stone response as it seems he forgot. I emailed him more than 4 weeks before deadline to submit my Corp. Tax return and I will pay him what we agreed upon in the contract but surprisingly he asked for extra $ 500 as according to his own rules I'm late. He prevented my access to Xero software with all my transactions ( I'm more than happy to share this email in this post if Mr. Stone keeps forgetting in order to show how nice he is to his customer Doctors). I had to look for new accountant and do all the work again with this short notice. In spite he did nothing for me and I had to pay for new accountant, I offered his lawyer to pay him $ 500. I would like also to advise doctors to read the contract and consult with your lawyer before signing especially if you are going to deal with MD tax to avoid what I'm going through right now.
