I spent 20 minutes on hold trying to speak to an employee at the North Battleford branch before hanging up in frustration. I’m almost sure I was redirected to the Canada-wide line anyhow. It’s been brought to my attention that this branch has had issues allowing cheques to be deposited into members accounts by 3rd parties which I have never heard of. Why would a bank make it difficult for anyone to deposit your cheque into your own account? I’ve been with scotia for years and I’ve never heard of this issue. My boyfriend now has to physically drive to North Battleford from saskatoon to deposit a work cheque that his coworker could easily deposit for him because of this and I can’t even get someone at the branch to answer. If this is common practice for SOME types of people and not others at this branch, it’s time to move all business elsewhere.

Boots to RBC for poor service. I picked up a new credit card and took the lady at front line at least 10 minutes just to pick between two cards. As I had a card re-ordered. Finally she confirms the card and sends me on my way. I get into my vehicle and read the letter and realize I don't have a pin. So I got back into RBC and the receptionist is unhelpful and tells me I will have to get into line again. So ok I understand maybe she doesn't have the proper training to help me. So here I am waiting. Spending my whole lunch hour to try to pick up a silly credit card. Great customer service would have been to help me and apologize for the mix up not march past me and ignore me while I wait in line. Where does she go? To help the frontline staff and calls up a customer. Boots to the front reception lady with short brown hair and glasses. UPDATE: the card still didn't work when I went to the store...boo

I have always received top-notch service from this branch of RBC Royal Bank. From the friendly tellers to the one-on-one support with mortgage / credit / investment specialists in person, by phone and even by email.
