I was fully engaged in my sessions with Naznin (owner) and starting to believe that she had a good read on my wife and I. On about our 3rd session Naznin seemed to be frustrated with what I was saying. She made a comment referencing my clothing as not being grown up enough (hoodie and a hat). She compared my attire to that of her teenage son. She then stated that her clients wear nice shirts with collars. I found this to be extremely unprofessional and was unsure how to react. The last thing I expected when trying to work on my relationship was to be critiqued on how I was dressed. This was approximately 2 years ago and due to the fact that it still bothers me I felt the need to write this review. I found Naznin to be old fashioned when it came to understanding a modern family dynamic. She did not seem well versed in a household where both the woman and man work full time. If I could do it again I would still go ahead with the counseling as I found it helpful to hear an outsiders point of view. I would however look for a different professional provider. Hope this helps.

I wanted to find support but was worried about visiting a psychologist. It was really easy to book an appointment. I got in within a week! Even though I work days I was able to come in thanks to their evening availability. It's a very cozy and warm clinic. The only downside is that I had to pay $2 for parking when I came in for an afternoon appointment. Sherwood Park should not have pay parking.

A wonderful experience. A welcoming and calming place to sit and chat through things.
