What I loved about our couple counselling sessions was John and Susie are both there (optional if you don’t want both but I would highly recommend it). It allows for a collaborative experience and although some tough sessions (as counselling is if you wanna work through your stuff), because of it has brought us to a wonderful place we maybe wouldn’t have got there on our own because you can’t do surgery on yourself. Thank you both for the work you do and the setting you create that allows us fairly quickly to be able share as if we are at home communicating to each other so you can help us through the challenges!

John and Susie are a great couple. Me and my wife did pre-marital counselling with them and it was a great experience, very knowledgeable. I’ve also done personal sessions with John and he’s an easy guy to talk too and genuinely wants to help. Highly recommend.

John and Susie Jenkinson are amazing counselors. By this I am referring to their ability to see beyond the details and help me see what is causing the issues that I am currently and have previously dealt with but not previously successfully . Being in my 3rd marriage I have enough experience to see they are unusual in that they are actually trying to work themselves out of a job in helping me with what's really going on . Wonderful compassion is complemented by carefully showing what could be truth that has not been seen yet . We have been seeing both of them together for all of us to see the overall picture and now will see them individually for the deeper issues we brought into our marriage . I am so grateful for their perspective.

I've had number of occasions to deal with John Jenkinson. He manages to strike an appropriate balance between professionalism and compassion, and between practical advice and emotional support. Though he has a Christian perspective, he is able to assist people who don't share that perspective. I often recommend to others that it is worthwhile speaking to someone who is neither a friend nor family. Because friends or family, though well-meaning, will inevitably be weighing or gauging their responses for a variety of reasons. John Jenkinson is an excellent objective, but not cold, counsellor.
