I found Alistair to be very calm and patient, and he showed me some great techniques to help me move forward. Our time together was very productive. Highly recommended!

I had no experience with therapy and was unsure of the whole process. Alistair made everything very accessible and un-intimidating. It was clear that he puts quite a lot of effort and preparation into every session. I'm so glad that I decided to do this, and could not have asked for a better person to help me with this. I would highly recommend Alistair to anyone who has ever thought that they might benefit from talking to a professional.

As a fellow clinician in the community I can vouch for Alistair in both his skill as a counsellor and his heartfelt understanding and patience with others. Alistair is a therapist I can gladly trust to take client referrals.

I have been working with Alistair Gordon as my counsellor at Lifespring for almost 6 months now and cannot begin to tell you how far I have come with his help. I have tried working with other counsellors and therapists in the past but never really found one that clicked for me. I always felt judged, unsupported, and rushed at those appointments until I booked my first appointment with Lifespring and with Allistair. He has a very calm, reassuring, respectful, warm, trustworthy, and encouraging approach and doesn't just listen to you - he truly HEARS you. No bullshit, just simple conversations and breathing techniques that have helped me to find new ways to look at things and to get in tune with how I truly think and feel, as well as how to tackle some of the massive things I have been carrying around and living under for so long. And the fact that he is willing to also use web-based counselling was so helpful to me, so that the only thing I needed to worry about was being present and aware of my own thoughts and feelings. It is nice to know that no matter where I am in the world, if I am in crisis and need someone to talk to - I can reach a professional who can actually help me. I can honestly say that I might not have been here today if I hadn't made the decision to email his office and book an appointment. And I am forever grateful for just how much my life and my outlook on it has changed in such a short period of time. To anyone on the fence about booking an appointment or engaging in therapy: if you are willing to do the work, you couldn't ask for a better partner in your healing journey.
