They were supportive of shared parenting, joint custody, right of first refusal, etc (after speaking with my legal counsel). However when it comes to some of the more complex matters, and I have seen multiple fathers voice out concerns here, I would tend to agree with the dads that by peaceful waters may not be your best option. Based on my experience, examples of situations they have dealt with past clients were brought up but in every example the issue was described as being an issue with dad. I don't necessarily fault them for that as that is pretty usual in family law disputes and unfortunately one of the challenges dad's have to face and overcome.

This review is based on the rates and charges I received for the services provided. This office charges much like a lawyers office and you will pay for every phone call and email communication that you have with their staff. This is something I’ve never experienced with any other counselling office. My counsellor wanted some clarification on something which I happily obliged with a phone call only to receive an almost $90 bill without being reminded that I would be charged for their phone call. Also a nearly $600 bill for less than an 1.5 hr video conference is mind boggling. So you may get results with this company but it’ll cost you an extraordinary amount $$$$.

UPDATE UPDATE.... after posting this review, by peaceful waters offered use of a parenting coordinator in conjunction with the same therapist as before. The coordinator ended up losing complete control of the situation in the end. They continued to try and treat the abused child with PAS with mild breathing exercises that did nothing. They absolutely have little to no experience in parental alienation. While the coordinator seemed to talk a good game the therapist was vastly under trained. simple basic ground rules the coordinator applied were not followed by the opposing party and there was zero accountability. Parenting time schedules and plans made and approved by the coordinator were not followed and its wanst even brought up or a countermeasure put in place sadly . The child actually regressed under the watch of by peaceful waters while they continued to drain the limited resources I had left. It literally turned into a circus. when the funds ran out I requested a letter addressed to the court with the concerns and why the treatment failed but they also wanted to overcharge me for this as well . I am currently seeking a partial refund for misrepresentations in hopes I can take some funds and hire another clinic with actual experience in PAS. Please be assured this is not personal as both the therapist and coordinator were mostly pleasant but under trained and not honest about the approach. DADs and anyone dealing with PAS and high conflict divorce with kids, look elsewhere...by peaceful waters should not even be an option. I am taking my story to serval prodcast where I will get into further details of how they failed a child in need and what needs to change. I cannot speak to the other services provided but recommending them for anything to do with Parental alienation/high conflict divorce/child abuse would be a huge mistake. Final tally, almost a year of " treatment" over $ 7500 spent, no parenting schedule still and the child has regressed. Reached out to be peaceful waters once it was confirmed my 11 year old daughter was suffering from a serve case of parental alienation syndrome. They assured me they had experience and training in PAS. After numerous visits it became apparent they have ZERO experience in dealing with this and even less knowledge. Spent thousands and they couldn't even come up with a treatment plan . The office was more interested in billing and financial contracts than treatment plan's. Look elsewhere if it's PAS.

I have worked with Annette Katcheluba, Janine Schultz and Leanne Reimer. All 3 have been amazing to work with. Annette was highly anointed and so full of wisdom at helping my high-conflict ex-husband and I come to a mutually agreed separation agreement; we would have ended up in court if it hadn’t been for her amazing mediation skills. Janine has helped me personally for the past 5 years and I’m a completely new person thanks to the wisdom, healing and strength I have received through her. Leanne has helped my kids process their parents' divorce over the past 5 years, and they went from being dull, sad-eyed kids to vibrant, joy-filled kids under her care. I have worked with many different counsellors over the past 7 years and I haven’t found any who are the caliber of these 3 amazing ladies! They took my family from the wreckage we were and gave us a brand new start. I highly recommend Annette Katcheluba, Janine Schultz, Leanne Reimer and By Peaceful Waters!!
