I have been with Laura for over 2.5 years. She provides in person or over the phone counseling. Her flexible schedule and affordable rates have made it easy to continued sessions. I have had a positive outcome me during my time with Laura and would recommend her.

Unfortunately didn’t have the greatest experience. Laura is a wonderful person, but I wouldn’t call her a wonderful counsellor. I didn’t think my needs were really addressed or understood from the depth. She didn’t seem to have any experience or understanding of the South Asian culture, which wasn’t helpful. In a lot of ways, I felt worse about myself after the session instead of feeling even a bit of positivity. Her attempt in counselling was very poor, many things were disregarded. She also kept sharing her stories that had nothing to do with me or my situation. Too unfortunate that I paid money to feel bad and be called “dumb” repeatedly for certain things I do or the need to be done that way. Overall, I would advise South Asians to look for a counsellor who will understand you and your background better and not make you feel attacked for it instead. I’m sure Laura didn’t intend for it to happen, but it still did and I am sure one is not supposed to feel that way with their counsellor. Wasn’t a safe space for me to share my thoughts. I wish Laura good luck on her future endeavours!

I’ve been coming to see Laura since october and she has helped me a lot with my situation. She’s very kind and friendly, a good listener and gives great advice. I’ve felt very comfortable with her since out first session.

In less than one session Laura was able to interrupt a very tricky toxic family dynamic. She gets to the core of the issue and she does that through asking great questions. Experienced.

Laura Sandor is a great listener and provides you with very helpful information to help guide you through your recovery. She is highly recommended.
