Although Ometz tries its best to accommodate their clientele, they really need to know that their clients have severe financial limitations. So much so, free language courses should be offered in order for candidates to improve their skills, education, and chances of them finding job opportunities. They honestly cannot expect for people who barely have money to feed themselves, put a roof over their heads, and clothes on their backs to then be obliged to pay money for language courses. Another thing they, along with Emploi Quebec, really also needs to offer paid job training courses in order to get people back into the workforce. Finally, Ometz must reach out to companies who cater to people 40 and over to be able to find meaningful job opportunities.

Edina is an amazing person who has helped me in tons of ways from giving me tips on how to interview to helping me revise my extensive resume and tailor it to the positions I really want. The staff has been super friendly and amazing and gone out of their way to help me navigate Montreal. When Edina couldn't help me, she helped me meet with a colleague who could. I can not praise this organization enough.

I saw this segment on global television about this organization helps English-speaking (anglophone) from Concordia or McGill to find jobs. I wanted to book an appointment to ask some questions. The women on the phone asked me if I’m a member of the Jewish community!!! She was acting as if I was wasting her time or something. I wonder why would you advertise this place as a non-profit organization, in fact you can’t even train an employer to ask such an inappropriate questions. Asking about someone religion is considered an illegal question , such a shame!
