Excellent, extremely skilled therapist!

Marla is an extremely bright, compassionate and skilled therapist. She cares tremendously about her clients and works very hard to understand all your issues. I have been seeing her for a few years now and she has taught me so much about myself and helped me through so many difficult and challenging situations. It’s no surprise she has been successfully practicing for decades. Thanks for all your help Marla!! You’re awesome!!

If i could give 0 stars I would. She should get her license taken away. She was destructive to my family and is irresponsible and unethical. After disclosing abuse that my entire family was aware of when I was a teenager, Marla told me it was my fault. This had lasting repercussions that were extremely damaging to me and my family. She is a terrible therapist and I would even go so far as to say a terrible human being. She preys on the vulnerable and makes already difficult times, worse. You should absolutely be ashamed of yourself and should quit and change professions.

Amazing therapist. Has been incredibly supportive on my journey, and has helped me navigate some very difficult situations in my life.

Marla Yanofsky was detrimental to my family. My child who was being followed by Marla, at the request of his father, exemplified increasingly aggressive behaviour towards me during therapy. Coming from a terrible divorce, my ex-husband hired Marla as a final attempt to alienate me as a parent. My son and family had been seen by various health professionals over the course of a few years all which agreed, that my ex-husband’s behaviours were illogical and impractical with an intent to alienate and discredit me. I was dealing with a man with controlling behaviour and a narcotics issue. However, it was apparent that Marla aligned herself with my ex-husband because he was paying the bills. Additionally, Marla seemed racist against my family because our Italian background. She had a clear bias in our therapy sessions which made me uncomfortable and strained my relationship with my son. 3 years later, I am dealing with a young man who has a marijuana problem and who is able to get his supply from his father. Whatever, positive therapy that was done prior to my son seeing Marla Yanofsky was undone by her biased and detrimental therapies. If I could, I would sue her because I do not think this woman deserves a practitioners licence. I do not feel this woman is qualified in any way, shape or form and will align herself with whomever is paying her invoice.

Totally ineffective sessions, she is very judgemental and biased, with a very loud body language, unable to keep an objective and detached ( and professional ) tone. Totally disappointed
