I have been to many therapists before but I never had much success, when aca popped up on my google search I figured I'd book in and try it out. Jim talks to you as a friend and works on getting to the root of the issues at hand, every time I come out of a session I feel like I have made progress within my life, I'm happier and have renewed motivation to push on and continue to become stronger mentally and learn how to cope. Amazing therapist! Thank you Jim!

If you are looking for a therapist who lets you cry and whine for an hour, Jim is not for you. Jim does have a very positive and down to earth approach to finding the root of your issues and working through them. He asks the tough questions because he cares and wants you to do better for you! His honesty and ability to relate makes for a safe environment for discussions. He has a great sense of humour too! I highly recommend hi to anyone needing a little or a lot of guidance. He knows his stuff!

What can I say? I did not want to see a counsellor because I didn't think there was anything anyone could do to help me. Boy was I wrong!! After my first few visits with Jim, I was able to start controlling my anxiety and was able to communicate with my husband better. Jim has a way of making you understand and see a different perspective of things. It has taken me a very long time to feel good about myself, and for once, because of Jim, I am starting to be proud of who I am as an individual. If I didn't take that leap to get some counselling, I would still be stuck inside a shell not wanting to come out! Because of Jim I am able to look at things differently and have a better understanding! He is so amazing! I don't regret taking that first step of walking in and being able to let him help me become a better ME!! THANK YOU JIM!!

I have never experienced such an honest, and compassionate person to support me in my mental health. Jim has been absolutely amazing for my life and outlook to my future. I came to him broken and unable to identify why I was feeling so terrible. Within the first session I realized so many things. He was straight-forward as that is my personality as well, I laughed and cried in his office and felt 100% comfortable as I was explaining myself. In only a short time, he completely changed my outlook on how I see myself and perceive the world around me. I am a more positive person, have more confidence in myself and my abilities, and stopped blaming myself for every little thing in life. I have so much to thank him for, I am so glad I decided to come to you Jim!
