Both of our movers did an amazing job. Bruno the main guy was amazing at making sure everything went into the house without damaging anything. They showed up on time and loaded up our storage unit faster than expected and then had everything in the house in a timely manner. Every item they brought in they confirmed where we wanted it put to ensure ease of unpacking for us. Definitely would recommend these guys again as we have used them twice and both times have gone great.

We hired these guys last year and the move was a disaster. I’m still upset about it, that’s why I’m doing the review. We basically paid two guys to break all of our stuff while our neighbors watched. If you want to say bye to your neighbors while your underwear is lying in the street and traffic is backing up because one of the movers is trying to stuff it back in the drawers of the dresser he dropped, then definitely go with these guys. They showed up an hour late with no ramp on their truck. One guy left to look for a ramp and showed up over an hour later. Meanwhile, my husband and I helped the other mover bring things down to the main floor level of our condo. The guy who found the ramp literally started throwing things onto the truck while the other one told him to ‘be careful.’ The ramp was broken and kept falling off the truck while the guys were walking on it. Yes, a safety hazard and I think that’s how 8 of our 12 bowls broke and 6 of 12 mugs broke. The guys also dropped our treadmill in the main stairwell of our condo building and one guy almost died. They dented walls and luckily the stairs were concrete. A wheel broke on the treadmill and there are dents and scratches all over it and most of our furniture. They cracked a tile in the elevator floor, dented and scratched common area walls in our old condo building AND the new one. They even managed to break two laundry baskets. My husband refused to let them touch my wedding dress and other valuable items which we moved later on. It took them over 8hours to move our stuff out of our old condo. The Super Powers movers we hired two months later did it in 3, including driving time and didn’t break anything. They are WAY better and much nicer people to deal with. At the end of this awful move, the guys told us their insurance would cover all the damage they did, just call the head office. We called the head office and they said we didn’t purchase ‘their’ insurance and they were not liable for damage, even in the common areas of BOTH condo buildings. Worst of all, unpacking was difficult because we were reaching into boxes of broken glass and looking at gifts we got from our wedding that broke. We had to document all of the damage, only to be denied coverage for their negligence. Moral of the story: if you have a lot of stuff you DON’T like, lots of time on your hands, and some money to waste then get the insurance they don’t tell you about and hire these guys to break everything for you, in public, with lots of witnesses around to watch.

We had a very nice and respectful crew. They had great knowledge on how to move each large piece of furniture. They were fast at moving the small pieces with no time wasted. They were very careful with the house and our furnitures (took very good precautions). Bruno and Dean were very polite and always asked if there was anything else they could do. Great service!!

We worked with Two Small Men with Big Hearts for our in-city move and it was easily the best moving experience I've had (and I've moved many, many times). Although the company booked 3 movers, only two arrived but that was the only hiccup of the day. The two movers, Dwight and Kesley, were fantastic. They worked very fast, were careful with our things, and easily accommodated the fact that I was only about 80% packed up (they helped with the rest of the packing or just took loose objects and secured them in the truck). At the other end of the move, they unloaded things quickly and efficiently, made sure items and boxes got to their proper destination, and were great about reassembling furniture. What I expected to be a full-day move only took 5 hours! I'm so thrilled with these two movers and I absolutely recommend Two Small Men with Big Hearts if you have to move within Calgary.

Was very happy with our moving experience with Two Small Men. We were moving my mother from one apartment to another, and we were worried about some horror stories of other movers, but there was nothing like that at any point with Two Small Men. The office personnel were great to deal with and the movers themselves were awesome, both guys were very friendly, and it was done quickly and carefully. There were a couple minor paperwork snafus, but they were dealt with right away with no issues. They really seemed to care that we had a good experience. We would happily recommend and use Two Small Men for any local move we need to do in the future.
