While being one of the more expensive movers I found. It was definitely worth the cost to have such a stress free move. We had a 3 man crew move a 1500 square foot apartment in a high rise to a house. Including traffic (about an hour), it took about 7 hours to complete our move. The workers were professional, fast, and took great care in wrapping and protecting our belongings. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Just plan better than I did, don't have them driving in 5 PM traffic on a Friday!

Just moved using Ameritex. Everyone I spoke with or interacted with was always very professional. They showed up on time and the guys moved quickly packing up, transporting, and unloading our belongings. They were careful and nothing was damaged. I would definitely use them again in my next move.

Ameritex Movers are great. On the day of my move I was texted and called with my arrival time. The team was prompt and on time. They worked hard and very efficient knowing that I wanted to stay within my time frame that i set with them. They packed and loaded my items and unpacked my items at my new place with out damaging anything. Victor is awesome! Thanks for all your hard work. I will use you when I move again and will be spreading the word to others.

This was our first time ever using a moving company personally and they were great. From the moment I called for the quote all the way to the end everyone was so nice and professional. Despite going over allowed time (time I wanted to be done) they guys were busting butt the whole time and did amazing. Only complaint I have is that they forgot the pegs to my bookshelf and said would bring them back but haven't heard anything. We will for sure be using them again at the end of this lease and now with the know I'll be more prepared lol Keep up the great work Ameritex (office staff and movers)

Ok, I have read nearly every review here, and I’m inclined to believe the majority of them, at least the more recent ones, are written by hired hands. This is the worst experience I’ve had with a moving company, and that is saying something considering my family has moved 4 times in the last 5 years. Prior to hiring Ameritex, we had already spent several days boxing up the majority of our things. We only needed help with the larger pieces of furniture and appliances. The crew sent to us moved at a painfully slow pace. While I value caution more than speed it, it was clear that we did not get the A-team. They would consistently retreat to the truck only to disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and speculate that they were evaluating how to arrange everything had they not been so obviously lazy from the start. Two of the men were polite and professional, but the one who seemed to be leading the crew was rude and clearly put off about having to work that day. I don’t know if he’s always that lazy or if we were just unfortunate. I wish I had a photo of him the moment he found out we’d decided not to take the refrigerator. The look of relief on his face was priceless and completely summed up his attitude. He interrupted my wife and I a few times while we were discussing where to put things and tried to get out of moving a few pieces of furniture, untruthfully telling me my wife had instructed him to leave them behind. I told them twice to move the truck towards the driveway when we began taking stuff out of the garage to save time due to the home being located on a corner lot. However, they elected to ignore me and leave it parked at the front of the house. I watched them roll every remaining piece of furniture down the driveway and walk it 50 yards in the street to load it onto the truck. It was ridiculously inefficient. They later put a baseball sized hole in the wall of our new home within 5 minutes of bringing things in. Had we not noticed I’m inclined to believe they would have taken off without saying a word about it. I had no problem with them taking a break to eat and was happy to buy burgers for everyone. However, the crew member I mentioned above had the nerve to tell us they were going to take lunch before we drove out to the new house to unload. We weren’t having it, and if they had showed up that day with some semblance of a work ethic they would’ve been finished by then anyway. They did not remove the plastic wrap from numerous pieces of furniture and actually had to borrow my knife and tools. They did not hook up the lines to the washer and dryer before putting them against the wall, so now we have to back them both out to do it. They carelessly and needlessly put packing tape over the top of a dresser finished with nitrocellulose. So of course it ate right through the gloss. I just got the impression that after only a couple of hours they had already checked out. The bottom line is that there are better companies. Ameritex’s marketing team clearly has some chops, so I really have to hand it to them. I don’t make a habit of writing reviews, but I’ve made a point to in instances that a company’s performance is this disappointing.
