We hired this company to move our larger furniture. First they took forever to wrap and get things loaded. I work for a large oilfield company, I know the difference between working safe and taking advantage. These guys were not putting in an honest effort. I saw one person carry a single pillow from the couch. Into our new house. This same person decided that it was ok to take quick smoke breaks every time he went back to the truck.
They destroyed our tv, saying that a strap let go. Our tv is a large 60” flat screen with a good base to it. The base was snapped off and there was a dent on the back of the tv. Also the screen on the inside is shattered. Obviously the tv no longer works. The driver apologized and said that I can submit a claim to the office and that they have a quick turnaround on these things as THEY are the ones who broke it. The movers also snapped a leg off of the mirror for our dresser and cracked the base where it connects.
The guy who was assisting the driver was not professional at all. He stood in our garage as the truck backed up. I had to stop them before they backed into our new home. They left all the doors open during a cold day -20. I was very polite to these two movers. I even folded the blankets that they had used to wrap our stuff.
I paid the company in full even though I was not happy with how long they took and the damage they had done. I believed that the claims department would be quick to solve any problems. We emailed all pictures and left our contact info. Nothing was done, I had to call multiple times and leave messages. Once I finally was able to talk to claims they said they would look into the matter and call me back. I received nothing. No call or email.
We have also contacted the director of operations as they had followed up with how the move went. Since we voiced our concerns we have heard nothing. I am very disappointed as I have done everything on my end to be polite and respectful. Again do not use this company.
