DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. I moved from Toronto to Edmonton. When I contacted them for an estimate they seemed professional and reasonable. Arranged the move and was convinced by their sales staff that paying for packing was the way to go, if I wanted my possessions properly insured. Their packing was atrocious. Literally throwing things in boxes. When I tried intercede was told that it was handled and to let them work or else they would just leave. Naturally when I received my things on the other side of the move, many things were broken. I immediately phoned the company and was told I was to send pictures and receipts. I did and then was told they would give $100 on $2000 worth of damages. I asked about the paid for packing and insurance and was informed I could then take $150 or not, but if I did I wouldn't be allowed to write a review. You can see my choice. Do not use these lying, careless terrible movers.

Broke multiple items included antiques that have been in my family for generations. Will not respond to any request for claims, which has been going on for a month now. These guys will just throw your stuff without any care or respect for it. There quote was half of what it actually costs. They showed up for pickup past my possession date from my sale house which resulted in fines. If anyone wants a class action against this company I'm in.

I used Across Country Movers from San Diego to Toronto. This company bent over backwards to help me with 2 moves, one from San Diego to Toronto and another from San Diego to Portland OR. Fantastic and professional company. Recommend them to everyone. No hassle with Customs they did all documentation for me and charged $0 for this service. Highly Recommend.

Do not use this company for any reason. It may seem like a good deal, but the extra cost of any other company is well worth it. They showed up several weeks late, charged extra fees for the extra time they had our stuff, damaged boxes and glassware and lost 3 boxes entirely. If you think you may be lucky and have a good experience unlike everyone else, think again. You will be ripped off and you will lose or have your properties damaged. Save the headaches and just choose someone else to move you. I'm very certain that any good reviews for this company are fake, as there was not a single good word I could use to describe this company, and I know that others will share this sentiment as a fact because somehow I wound up with someone else's belongings. (If you are missing a box of books let me know, and if you are given 3 boxes of clothes that aren't yours please contact me as well)
