All the people at Duncan Moving & Storage were wonderful to work with. I had been pretty stressed out, because I was moving after having sold our house of 36 years, after my husband died. From Duncan to Comox. They made it stress-free. John, the head mover was, so calm and friendly, and a master of packing a storage unit! They made me feel totally comfortable. And their price was very reasonable. I would recommend this company to everyone. Small-town friendly service, extremely professional.

Hired them to move my elderly parents. Had them come into my parents home and give me a quote. I walked threw the house with them and we talked about all the items in the house. Prior to hiring them to handle the move I reviewed the quote because I did not want my parents to be surprised by any undo costs. The day of the move the items are being loaded into the truck and the first truck gets full. They bring a second truck in. At this time they tell me that they will be charging more. I told them that they checked my house and gave me a quote based on the items and I was not willing to have my parents pay more. Fifteen minutes later the owner calls me and says either you pay more or he will have the truck unloaded. We had a deadline to move out and the owner knew this and pretty much black mailed my elderly parents to pay more. The up-charge trick used and implements well by Duncan Moving and Storage!
