I had the unfortunate experience of driving for prodigy for 2 nights. The "training " I received was a complete joke. There are no truck inspections or inspection sheets, no log books, and I was never even tested to see if I could drive. They never even asked to see my drivers license!! The truck I was in bounced all over the road and had a hard time stopping unloaded. We purposely avoided weigh scales and I would have hate to have scene what d.o.t. would have done had they stopped us. I also had the unfortunate experience of meeting the manager Sharron at here personal residence in Brandon. The woman I meet was clearly a drug addict, with open sores and track marks all over her face and arms. The smell of urine and feces from those poor 3 dogs I meet in the entrance was unbearable. It literally burned my nostrils to breath. I new right then I had made a huge mistake agreeing to drive for prodigy. As I left the managers residence I knew was not going to be paid for the driving I did, even tho i was assured i would be. Prodigy is a horrible company, run by horrible people, who dont care about the employees, their trucks or safety of the public. I was hauling mail for #canadapost from Brandon to Dauphin and back. #canadapost should be embarrassed to have a contract with such a disreputable. I will now be boycotting #canadapost as a result of this experience and will be advising anyone else to do the same.
