Our crew showed up on time but drug their feet for 4.5 hrs. and smelled like alcohol. We ended up having to help them move so we could get it finished. The deposit that we paid was deceiving. It does not apply to your total so you pay 1 hour up front and how ever much time the crew is there plus tip. We do not recommend this company, we could have moved faster ourselves and saved a lot of money.

If I could give less than one star I would. We thought Peachtree Movers was a reputable company, but our experience has been anything but. The move my mother hired Peachtree Movers for was not an easy one we know, as there were things to be moved and things to stay in the house in preparation for an estate sale. However, we labeled everything with instructions on moving vs. staying. Peachtree Movers was hired to pack and transport. First, two weeks later the move is still incomplete - many items were left behind at the old house and many were moved in error to the new house. Second, my mother was charged twice the original estimate for a local move. Third, a number of items (in particular tools belonging to my late father) were stolen by the crew. Fourth, the crew entered my mother's home to retrieve a second load without her consent. Fifth, many items were damaged or broken due to very poor packing - porcelain bird figurines with NO wrapping paper were placed in a box with a stack of coffee filters that was wrapped in several sheets of wrapping paper and taped up. Management has been unwilling to work out a resolution and essentially told my mother she was lying about the theft. A police report has been filed. Pretty sad when you have a recently widowed woman who has been taken advantage of in every way by a "reputable" company. Beware!

Moved from three different locations into one. Very complex move that included antiques, books and a piano. No damage from townhouse with a tight staircase. The only damage was the cover on a slight switch from a three day long move. Amazing team and wonderful customer service from first phone call to after service and care!!!

We used Peachtree Movers and purchased the additional insurance in the event any items were damaged during the move. The movers damaged several items, photos were taken and a claim was filed with Peachtree Movers. The claim form that Peachtree Movers sent me to complete stated the claim had to be filed within 90 days of the moving date. I filed the claim 83 days after the moving date as we were still unpacking items from the basement and continued to find damage items. I contacted Felix with Peachtree Movers numerous times and he stated he would call me back with an update but never did. Finally, I received an email from Peachtree Movers stating they denied my claim due to filing it 83 days after the move. I reminded them that their form states 90 days and Felix said he would call me back, again he never did. DO NOT USE PEACHTREE MOVERS! I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Burea.
