Movers Not Shakers was terrific. They very quickly gave me a thorough bid (based on seeing my place). They got me on their schedule with a short lead time. They showed up on time, were courteous, organized (my move was a bit complex and stuff was going to two different places) and they took good care of my stuff. The guys who priced the job were also accessible for questions. I had gotten several bids well in advance and reached out to Movers Not Shakers at the recommendation of my broker and was glad I did.

Movers, Not Shakers!, is one of the BEST moving companies that I have ever worked with. From start to finish, everyone made the experience wonderful. I worked with Vanessa & Harry. They both had exceptional customer service from the beginning and I suggest you ask for them from the start. Also, we had 6000 square feet of office space to move in 1 day! There were 13 guys who were the nicest movers that you will ever meet! EVERYONE packed, dismantled, loaded & unloaded all in a span of 7 hours. This was a seamless process for them and I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them to everyone I know. Everything was in PERFECT condistion. I will be moving again and will definitely reach out to the team. They are extremely affordable and great people to work with. THANK YOU TEAM MOVERS, NOT SHAKERS! You guys made this move memorable! If I can give you 10 stars here, I would!

I find moving to be the worst experience. NOT THIS TIME!! The crew was on time, courteous and efficient. Nothing broken or damaged. Paid exactly what they quoted me. I highly recommend them. Great job!!!!

I just finished my third move with movers not shakers! I have used their service for all of my moves in the past 4 years and have been extremely pleased each time. Definitely recommend to anyone moving in the NYC/NJ area! They brought me from Queens to central NJ, central NJ to Midtown West and just recently Midtown West to near Hudson Yards. Every time has been a breeze for me. My moving teams were all very friendly, efficient, and methodical. They are always careful to wrap the important furniture in both moving blankets + shrink wrap and even take care of unscrewing lightbulbs and padding them to prevent any damage when moving lamps. One thing I really appreciate is that the lead mover (Kevin, this most recent time) checks with me about how I want things packed and what is ready to go. This is great if you are particular about any of your items that you really like and just one of the extra steps that they take to make the process seamless. You won’t go wrong here. 5/5!
