My office uses DC Moving quite often, and they are always super friendly, accommodating and easy to work with! Recently, we had a few pieces of very old, expensive and fragile art that needed to be carefully packed and shipped down south, and they were very diligent in making sure everything was packed with the highest standard of care. DC Moving goes over and above to help their clientele, and make them feel comfortable with leaving their possessions in their hands. Very happy with their services :)

Lowballs the quote then holds your property for ransom claiming unsubstantiated extra costs much higher than the estimate. Final cost for YK to Toronto was $3K higher than quote and no proof of reason (extra weight) provided.

My experience with DC Moving & Office Relocations Ltd was a complete failure. In fact, it failed long before it even started. I spoke with the owner for pricing and information, he hung up on me in mid sentence...I guess I did not answer his question quick enough. I assume business is excellent and the need to have some professionalism is not required. No problem though, I immediately contacted Best Movers - they handled my call professionally and with great interest. Buyer Beware, I can only imagine the type of service one would receive if a problem arose or critical thinking might be required. Good Luck with your business!

We used DC Moving for our move to Yellowknife. They were quite helpful in the planning stages and told us that it would take a week for our stuff to be moved from Toronto, Ontario to Yellowknife. With this in mind, I sent my plants with the truck. The move did not take a week and I lost 3/4 of my plants. The company used 2 other moving companies in southern Canada to conduct our move. Our stuff got split into two different trucks, one going to Quebec City before coming north. The one week we were told became 1 month. We did not have our stuff until almost 3 weeks after we moved into our house in Yellowknife. In speaking with the owner of the company, he assured me that his company was the best and that they would look after everything along the way. He was difficult to get a hold of, short, when speaking to, and always seemed to have excuses as to why the truck wasn't present or other issues discussed. When our furniture, etc finally arrived, a number of invaluable and irreplaceable family antiques/furniture pieces were broken or damaged. The owner informed us that he would ensure that all of these pieces were replaced or fixed. He gave his word. In the end, he wrote us a cheque for far less than what it will cost to replace and fix the pieces. In dealing with the owner throughout this process, I found him rude and disrespectful. In speaking to him, I found his manner patronizing. Using DC Moving has made us realize that we will never use a moving company again for our moves and definitely will not use or recommend DC Moving to anyone.

Our Experience with D.C. moving was terrible. We moved from Toronto to Yellowknife and it started off OK. He told us are stuff would be in Yellowknife within a week. Well it did not show up for a month, some how it ended up in Quebec. When our stuff did get here, the own was rude to both my wife and I. They lost stuff broke a lot of items that have been passed down in the family. The owner give us his word that he would fix and/or replace anything that needed to be. Which he did not do. We are extremely disappointed with D.C. Moving and the owner. I would not trust any this D.C. moving. Just find another moving company
