This is the best movers. Honest, on time, they work hard and don't fool around. Nothing broken and price is good. Give them a try

Awesome movers!! Seriously could not have picked a better company to help me move. The crew was super professional and friendly, and got me to my new location without a hiccup. So thankful! Would 100% recommend!

DO NOT use Joe the Mover--I wish I could give 0 stars! I used them this past summer. They broke a ton of our stuff in boxes very clearly labelled "FRAGILE" and they were drunk. I hope the driver wasn't, but who knows. They took forever to arrive at my new place which wasn't that far away and when they did, they brought things up slower and slower and smelling of alcohol more and more. It was pretty obvious they were drinking when going to the truck to pick up our things. Plus they were extremely rude. Just horrible service and I've moved many many times in the past 10 years. Never have I had such a terrible experience.

I barely write (especially bad) reviews but had to for this company. Perhaps it doesn't apply to all of the their employees but I had a horrible experience with them. Not only were they very rude and rough during the move, the broke many of my personal belongings WITHOUT APOLOGIZING and tried to hide the broken pieces. Would not recommend.

There needs to be a legislation for moving companies so there is accountability! Without one they can damage, lose or steal your belongings without any consequences to them. This my experience with JOE THE MOVERS; I hired them to move my belongings from my minimalist 2 bed condo. I had a few extra items in the standard storage locker. Two Movers came and I was present the whole time for I had to allow them access into the building and into my storage unit. I watched them remove all the items. They were going from Queens Quay E directly over their storage unit to drop off my belongings. I provided the movers with my lock and key for I was not going to the storage unit and have never been, for I had no reason to. This all took place Feb., 2017. In August, we moved into our new home and hired Joe the Mover to move the belongings from their storage unit to our new home. They had to make a stop at our other condo to pick up our other belongings. I had wanted them to come at 1pm, but the girl told me 9am is the lasted they could start. I was given no other option. The movers (3) arrived at 11:20 am with a truck that was pretty much full from unloading the storage locker! They also did not bring the wardrobe closet my husband had requested just the day before. The movers were apologetic for they were not told to do so. We were fine with that. They realized they could not fit all the stuff into one truck so had to call a second truck who came with two more guys. You think when you request a truck moving the stuff that's in their storage locker and coming to pick up a condo move they would know to bring a bring truck. Now I was never asked how large our place was, bedrooms, etc but apparently I should have known. I guess when you book a flight, the airlines are suppose to know where you want to go and where you want to sit. Anyway the move continued. The movers were pleasant and were apologetic for not being told about the wardrobe boxes and the small truck. They also borrowed our step stool which was never returned to us as well as the new U Haul boxes that we never used and were going to return. I noticed when my bike came in the front tire was flat, it was not flat before getting onto their truck. I never said a word. Anyway 9 hours later, 100 boxes + and a $200 tip it was done. Rainy day, brand new floors full of dirt from their shoes but we get that. Late the 2nd day after unloading most of the boxes, I noticed a large box with a marble sculpture was not present for all the large boxes had been opened. After going through them all, I realized this box NEVER CAME BACK! Inside was a solid marble sculpture weighing approx. 75 lbs. I called Joe the Mover and left a message. They called me back the next morning and of course they would not even consider that one of their movers (I think it was from when it was getting moved from the storage unit to theirs that this piece either got dropped and smashed/not reported to me or STOLEN!) I asked to speak with the owner who would not acknowledge that it happened! I was either making this up or took it from the storage at their place( which I had no access to for they had my key and had never once even been there). I said " well I guess it must have walked away, even though it had no legs." He pretty much said well you gave our movers a $200 tip. Yes, we have compassion. They worked hard. You don't know what is missing or broken until you go through the boxes and items. Anyway it was pointless. He said "IT IS NOT OUR RESPONSIBILITY" So, in other words they can lie, steal and cheat and there are no repercussions! That in itself is a crime!. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN, NOR WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THEM! BOTTOM LINE, THEY LEFT WITH A VERY EXPENSIVE MARBLE PIECE AND IT WAS NEVER RETURNED! WE now have to go through our insurance $2500 deductible, to replace a piece that cannot be replaced. Please DO NOT USE JOE THE MOVERS! They could not care less! Thank God for KARMA!
