These guys were great, I had to move for school and they made it so much smoother. I was concerned about other people touching my stuff but they were very helpful and polite. I would recommend them to anybody and will use them when I move back.

EXTREMELY STRESSFUL DEALINGS w/this business!!!! I paid them to go to my 10x30 storage unit to re-box items, as I will admit it was a mess from when I moved my stuff in there nearly a year before and had moved stuff around during the year to take items to my new residence. Some boxes were squished/dented, but not the contents, but I was facing a long distance move and wanted to be assured they would be in a sturdier box this time. I was told it would probably be no more than $450 to re-box a few of the boxes and organize the unit in preparation for them to return & move me a couple weeks later. After they did so a guy from their office called me and said it was actually $904 because they had to use more boxes than anticipated. They did not call me to warn me or ask me if I wanted them to continue, so of course I had to pay them nearly $1,000 for that. Ouch. They returned a couple weeks later and loaded all of my stuff and brought it to me, in another state. The boxes were marked. That was the whole purpose of me having them go to my storage and re-box items and organize it so it would make my move easier this time, but instead one of the 2 guys they chose to bring my stuff to me put all the boxes in one of my bedrooms, which included heavy stuff from the garage. The entire room was filled up with boxes. I could not even close the door. There was not even an inch to move along the walls. It has taken me nearly 4 months to go through those boxes in that room because of having to pull one out at a time and put stuff away and break the boxes down and remove them!!! He told me they had to get on the road and that he was not going to do that for me and that he just wanted to get out of there and get paid. I believe his name was Jesse. The younger guy that was working with him was very nice. Besides the inconvenience of trying to drag stuff out of that room and put it in the garage or the appropriate place there were so many things that they had packed improperly during their time at my storage unit. I had a floral arrangement that took me nearly 2 years to make and they had pulled the flowers and greenery out of the 3 ft glass vase and threw them in the bottom of a box and put a garden hose and dog food and a bunch of other random stuff on top of the flowers. There were probably 100 stems just in that one floral arrangement costing anywhere from $7 to $9 per stem.I found the glass vase in another box with one thin piece of tissue paper. None of the boxes they charged me $1,000 for were filled up & no items wrapped. I still cannot find several items and when I called and talked to the office they said they were not on the truck. The owner then called me with the final charge of $3,000 to basically come here and dump all my stuff wherever the guy felt like dumping it. I walked through a small path for over a month because stuff was in such disarray and thrown everywhere. They had to make a couple trips back to my storage unit when they were only five or 10 minutes away because the storage unit office called me and said there were items left. The moving company owner called me and was extremely abrasive and told me I should have been there and that was not his problem that things were left behind and that he told me before that I should have been present and that his 2 guys were upset because they had to make a couple trips back. I reminded him and explained to him that I told him a few weeks before that I was not able to be present and he said that was not his problem and talked over me. The owner later call me back and apologized for being so rude to me and said something about having a bad day and that he should never talk to customers that way. I have been so traumatized by this move that I have not been able to write this review. I'm still sorting things and trying to recover from this traumatic experience.

I called my 83 year old mother and asked her to fill the quote form on the website. She had little trouble and I followed up with a call to set up the move from Canadian Lakes to Canton. The guys not only got there on time, they had a second truck from a job in Traverse city come by and help (at no additional charge). They made my parents feel at ease and finished the move first thing in the morning. Really appreciated the extra effort!
