I would definitely recommend Two Men and a Truck. They were very pleasant and professional. Our move ended up costing less than expected. From beginning to end it was a good experience.

Very efficient!!!! Demetrius, Kyle, and Justin did a excellent job. Moved the equivalent of three complete rooms and lawn furniture. They were very careful with our heavy/ big pieces and did an amazing job at getting our furniture from difficult spaces. Would definitely recommend using them for any move needed!

I had my move set up for 08/25/18, which was set up the last week of July, approximately 1 month in advance. The scheduled move time, on that Saturday was 8am-9:30am arrival. At 9:45am, the movers hadn't arrived, so I called them. They stated that they had some call offs, and asked if I was available to move the following day. I explained that I was moving that day, with or without the movers; which was met with a we'll see what we can do attitude. He also mentioned that the move would be at a "substantial discount." Okay, not perfect, but okay. I was able to move everything but a treadmill, an exercise bike, a refrigerator, a twin mattress and box springs, with a couple of miscellaneous boxes and items. At 6:45pm, the movers called and said they were on their way; which I rescheduled for Sunday, because I did not want to move until midnight on Saturday. We rescheduled for noon on Sunday. At 9:30am on Sunday, the movers called and asked if I could be at the house in 30 minutes. After explaining that it was scheduled at noon, the mover made it clear that I was inconveniencing him, so we agreed to move it to 11am. I arrived at the house at 10:55am, and awaited the movers. I began moving some of the remaining items into my car. The movers didn't arrive until 11:30am...not great, but at least they arrived. 3 movers showed up, and began moving quickly. They were able to empty the old house in about 20 minutes, and then they started with the treadmill. I explained that one wire needed to be disconnected, then it was 6 bolts to get the treadmill into 2 pieces; I just couldn't get the wire disconnected. After 30 minutes or so, they ignored me and broke down the treadmill into 3 pieces, the tread, the console, and the uprights. Aside from breaking a lamp, cracking a tile in my kitchen, and scuffing a wall; we were off and running. We arrive at the new house, and they start moving, normal until the treadmill, which was going in the basement. After an hour passes, I check in on them, and the treadmill is completely torn apart, like every piece. Another hour passes, and then I feel the need to stand there and watch them work, because I'd been avoiding this all day (didn't want to be that guy). They finish the treadmill, the railings, and replacing the doors by 5:40pm. They scratched the hardwood floor, damaged drywall in the staircase, scratched the stairs, somehow broke the leg of the fridge. Could be worse, right? So, they come back in at 6pm, and begin going over the bill. The one guy goes, "we're waiving the travel charge." The other guy goes, "waiving the travel charge? Wow, I can't believe their waiving the travel charge!" Fantastic actors they were. Thanks, $150, woo. I believe that they were sensing that I was not pleased. So, I sign the paperwork, and they leave, without a tip. This irks me, because I tip no matter what, good service or bad, and I gave them nothing. Well, not quite nothing. You see, I'm a homebrewer, and I had about 400 beers in the basement (which I moved), when they arrived. They asked about them, and I thought it would be a fun tip, to give them a 6 pack to go. Of course, what do I find in the basement? 2 empty beer bottles, might have something to do with the length of time it took to put that treadmill back together. Oh, and they stole my ladder; they left their ladder, but I liked mine better. They also used my tools, which were already in the basement (again, stuff that I moved); which isn't the worst thing, but they didn't put things back the way they were, and a drill bit is missing. They still charge me $900 for the move! But they waived the travel charge, so I probably should be happier. The customer service guy calls me on Monday, and explains that he will address with the crew. That's it, nothing else...if anything, I'd like my ladder back. So yes, I spent $900 to move 90% of my house, myself. And no, I would not recommend them...to anybody.
