A friend referred me to You Move Me. Used the Toronto location. Loved the experience. I was moving from Burlington which I was told was a different franchise. The manager called me and informed me it was under new managment from the Toronto location just last month so I decided to give them a try. I was nervous at first about moving but was put at ease when I hired You Move Me. Completely pleasant experience from the estimate to the move. I was very impressed at how well they took care of my belongings! The team was happy and full of energy which made my small move stress free! Highly recommended.

Received an in-home quote. Price was higher than all other quotes we received but the owner said for me to call him back once we finished reviewing quotes and he would see if there was any way he could compete with the other quotes we received. He seemed nice and knowledgeable so we thought we would honour his ask/recommendation. I called him twice and left two voice mails. Never received a return phone call. Imagine if we were trying to call him during our move or afterwards and an item was damaged?! Not good business practice to not return prospective clients phone calls. We were very turned off by this. Lost all confidence in this company. We hired another moving company and will never consider this company again in the future. UPDATE: Received a call today from this company’s head office about my review. The woman I spoke with asked me how I could leave a review when I didn’t use this company. She went on to condemn me for this and told me it wasn’t fair. She was extremely rude and condescending in my opinion.

Understaffed and Poor Follow Up We had You Move Me do our move from Burlington, ON to Waterloo, ON. They were short staffed to move our 5,000 sq. Foot home and didn’t have enough space in the trucks which caused them to “jam in” furniture and cause damage and breakage. They completely broke my sons desk. Once they got to Waterloo to unpack they were so tired they were hitting furniture against door frames and mouldings. We followed up numerous times with this Company. It’s Franchised and everything roles back to “Jimmy” who has yet to get us a resolution to these problems almost 3 months later. Also the "wardrobe boxes" they provided (part of their value add) were soaking wet and dirty because someone left the truck open all night to move our clean clothes.... nice touch. We should have paid more and got a reliable company who would’ve treated our house and belongings with more respect. If you’re thinking of hiring these guys RUN, run fast and run far away!

April 4, 2018, my piano fell off the ramp which wasn’t secure in front of several witnesses. Damaged and left in storage by the owner. THREE months later nothing done. Doesnt want his premiums to go up. That’s why we have insurance! I need my piano back! It’s my livelihood. A single mom who needs her piano for work!

You Move Me helped to move a large household with lots of content in an extremely professional way. They were timely, cheerful, fast (wow I am still impressed how easily they moved our super heavy treadmill) and careful. They loaded two trucks - and when unloaded they carefully placed everything (and some items we gave a wrong location for - so they moved those). When they left all was clean (no dinged walls, no broken items). We used other movers before (and looked at 4 others this time): in the future it is only You Move Me for us!
