I got a very friendly call from NK saying they will price match whatever quote I had received. Thinking it’s great service, I book with them. Everything goes smoothly until after my credit card is held and I had signed the documents. Once this was done, silence. No written confirmation that the job is booked, so I called and said someone will call back. No call received. Then come pick up time and no driver or truck to be seen. I made about 20 over calls, left numerous voicemails and nobody responds for at least an hour. After an hour, some guy say, I will get the driver to call you. They were an hour away from the pick up house. I call the company again and again and still no response. Ignorance at its best. I then finally got a mobile phone number from the driver and after a few calls, the owner replied and said; well I hope YOU can sort it out. No apologies or wanting to help at all. I basically had to make the arrangements with other people moving in on the day, had to help the movers with my stuff (i got them because I have back issues and can’t lift) so they can be moved within a short time frame. If I wanted to move my own furniture, i would have gotten family members to do it for free and get a u-haul. It was such an utter disappointment contracting these guys. I would not suggest them at all. Days after, this still has left a bad taste and i will never use their services again

Excellent move! The NK moving team were able to complete my entire move (1-bedroom apartment, from Toronto to Hamilton) in 3 hours total, including the drive out to Hamilton. They were quick and efficient. All of my belongings made it safely to the new apartment with no damage, and they didn't mark up the apartments either. The moving team were courteous and friendly. The company also had clear communication leading up to the move: emails in the weeks leading up to the move, a call the day before to confirm the arrival time, and a call the morning of the move to let me know how many minutes away they were. Fair price, and very efficient moving service. I definitely recommend trying these guys!

This has been far and away my worst moving experience to date. Called for a straight-forward, furniture only move from a tiny downtown apartment to midtown. The booking and administration process was solid, very kind service, assured me it was easy when I submitted my itemized list of furniture to be moved. Day of was a total disaster. They sent 3 people, which I would have thought would speed it up, but it was by far the slowest move I could have imagined. An unbelievable amount of puttering around, texting, and general chatting. They were super nice, but it was driving me nuts. No question that my girlfriend and I could have rented a truck and completed the moved in less than the time it took these three. They also damaged my furniture, and my wall at the new apartment I had just purchased. Finally, I was charged more than THREE TIMES the original quote. You can't quote people low to be competitive and then triple the charge... that is horrendous business practice. I held off writing this review for a month as I have been emailing to let them know how shady I thought this whole thing was, hoping they would do something about it. They have been remarkably unresponsive and I am incredibly disappointed with the way this has been handled. I don't know who I would use in the future, but I certainly know who I would not use.

My residential move last December was carried out seamlessly, I cannot be happier with the entire experience. It was easy to contact them and get the quote. They answered all my questions and thoroughly explained me the whole process. The 4-member team deployed by this company was quick, personable and accommodating. All my belongings made it to the destination safely. There were no surprises in terms of the pricing. I highly appreciate their professionalism and recommend the company.

When our office planned to relocate, we knew there would be a significant amount of planning involved. We inquired at several movers and packers and fixed on NK Movers because based on our conversations, they were most ready to take on the challenge of relocation. All our files were meticulously packed and loaded while all our furniture was carefully handled so that there was no damage. The moving crew did a thoroughly professional job. We are very impressed with their service and definitely recommend them.
