Be warned this company is a scam. They also go by the name custom movers. Hired them for a a move and sent in a 100 dollar deposit. Gary seemed very nice and professional on the phone even sent me a confirmation. Day of the move came and then his excuses started. Needless to say I had to hire someone else it's 3 weeks now and I still haven't received my deposit back. I've got all email and text conversations and it's all been reported to the police. Don't be fooled by Gary's niceness and DO NOT hire Hulk the mover

Where do I start with this moving company! Well first I booked them by participating in a facebook contest at beginning of April for the end of April. I sent them a deposit of $150.00 after we talked about what I had to move, from where and to where and was told I'd get a receipt that I never ended up receiving, but I emailed the money so I knew I had a record.. Texted and called repeatedly to confirm move. Finally as the date was getting closer I got a confirmation. We were booked for 9 a.m. and since I was moving out of a highrise , I booked the elevator for two hours. Day of the move, I was ready, At 9:40 ( late) the moving company arrived - with a UHaul trailer - I was concerned. So the agreed to price of $100/hr meant I wasn't touching anythingl. I have a six month old baby for the record. It took two hours for them to half fill the trailer as they would only place minimal items in the service elevator. Steve" said he wouldt play Tetris - he claimed to have wrap and blankets and all other moving equipment. After 3 hours I sent them off to the new place with a half filled trailer - I was getting concerned about rush hour traffic, remember this was booked to be 9 til 12noon move. That's how I was quoted. When they arrived at the new place, my mother-in-law (Gramma) had to move most of our things out of the trailer into the new place as the company owner Steve sat and smoked. He brought along one worker. So now it's 2 p.m. Gramma send the trailer back and continues to move everything into new place. By the time they got back to the old place myself and my husband had moved everything out of the apartment into the the downstairs lobby. Thinking this will cut down on time. Again, with only one person loading the trailer the load up was taking forever. Now it's 4:00 and the last load is ready to move - or so I thought. Arriving back at the new place, again, Gramma and my husband are unloading - didn't we pay movers to move us???? So, it's now 5:30, "Steve" says there is only about 5 small bags left - can I get paid - Original quote was $450 - so that's what I budgeted. He know says he wants another $650. What???? I'm paying $800 for a driver. So Gramma decides she is going to give him the remaining $300 that I had been willing to pay. Wait though, I'm upstairs putting together my child's crib. Brand new and the damage was unbeleivable - scuff marks, scratchesl Oh and the child's dresser, which I had removed drawers from - totally scratched and scuffed, obviously dropped. My new solid wood coffee table - huge chunk missing. My mattress, large hole in it. Oh there's more . . . They left several items in the lobby at the old place. So when Gramma goes to pay him, he gets really aggressive. We took pictures of all the damage. As well as pictures of the owner sitting on the back of the trailer, smoking and chatting away with neighbours. Gramma asks if he has business insurance. He claims to but no proof was offered. So Steve locks up the trailer - with alot of our stuff still in it. Of course really heavy stuff. Well he does eventually open the trailer for myself and my mother in law to empty. He is trying to intimidate us and finally leaves. He has now been paid $450. So he leaves and the threats begin. Name calling, going to send people here, I know where you live. Etc. Bottom line NEVER use Hulk movers. Extremely unprofessiona and not what they represent themselves to be.
