Their google review gave me a lot of anxiety, but after calling a few moving companies, Safeway movers had the best rate. Mike answered all my questions on the phone and was very personable, so I took a chance with them. They just finished moving my 3 bedroom townhouse and I couldn't be happier. They loaded the truck in 3hrs and unloaded it in 2. They were very efficient and professional and took away all my anxieties about the move. I will be using them again in the future!

Mike and his team are absolutely wonderful. I have never hired movers before and for (potentially) such a stressful situation, Mike was so calming and patient with us. They were beyond professional, helpful and very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend Mike and his team to anyone!

I'd like to thank Mike and the crew very much for a job very well done! I booked Safeway Movers a couple of months ago for a moving job on May 26, 2022 from Burlington to Ancaster, Ontario. Communications during the whole process was excellent. Safeway's staff was always clear, responsible and responsive in their communications, from the time of my first inquiry through the move day to the day I paid the invoice. Thanks for that, Safeway; I was organizing this move from a great distance, so I needed to feel the movers were on top of the situation at all times, and they obviously were. The deposit Safeway requested to hold the move day for us was very reasonable and easily paid with e-transfer. My mom and her husband are both in their mid-eighties and Mike, Clint and Damion from Safeway Movers helped them move from their rented condo and into their new home in an assisted-living/retirement community. For most seniors this kind of move is naturally a very stressful situation, but Mike and his Safeway crew are very experienced with this kind of move for this kind of client, and my mom and her husband had nothing but great things to say about their movers after their moving day was done. Safeway has also moved many clients into the assisted-living/retirement building where my mom and her husband now live, so everyone co-ordinated very well at their new home, and the staff and management there also said very flattering things about the movers, and told me that they have recommended and will continue to recommend Safeway Movers to their new residents. I also hired a "home organizational specialist" from a separate company in order to assist my mom and her husband in the weeks preceding their move so that they would declutter, downsize and better organize themselves for their new life in the assisted-living facility. This organizational specialist had worked extensively with my mom in the weeks leading up to the move and she was the on-site manager on move day, and Mike, Clint and Damion co-ordinated with her seamlessly in order to keep their mutual client as stress-free as possible that day. Well-done! It's great when contractors work so well with each other to serve the interests of the client they share. Safeway was aware of the various time limitations imposed on movers at many shared residences like condos and assisted-living facilities. In our case they easily accommodated elevator booking time limitations in the condo and meal-time limitations at the assisted-living community and did a good job trying to keep all of these sometimes conflicting concerns in mind when selecting times to arrive, work, and do the heavy lifting through public areas of the buildings. Thanks guys! The Safeway team showed great respect for the clients' belongings as well, and my mom was very happy and appreciative to have such friendly and responsible people in her home with her on such an important and stressful day. Everyone I spoke to about this move had good things to say about Mike, his team, and Safeway Movers in general, and I would highly recommend them for any move such as mine!

June 27th 2022, two days before moving day, I found out the company I booked two months prior were seized by the Toronto police! When Mike picked up my desperate call for help he said don’t you worry we will be there and move you! They did! Right on time and did more than expected! True hearts true helpers with dedicated employees and pleasant polite and professional! I can’t thank them enough! Totally recommend them! Crème the la creme in the movers industry!!
