I would not recommend their services. I needed to move from Boston to Toronto and decide to choose this company because it was the cheapest. They don't initially tell you that they are just a broker, and the actual moving company isn't Pan American Relocation but TransAtlantic Movers or something along those lines. My things were to be "guaranteed delivery" at a certain date, but it eventually took 3 additional weeks. I lived almost a month in an empty house with literally a chair and the belongings in my luggage because I never got a clear answer how long the delay would be. At first, they tell you it will be a few days later, until I found out the truck didn't even depart the US a week after my delivery date. I would rather get a clear answer that it would take X days longer, so I can buy stuff to survive until I get my belongings, rather than being strung along. They deflect responsibility by saying they are just the broker, and the actual moving company could not dispatch their truck until it did more stops and was filled up. Overall, very stressful experience and not worth the ~$300 you save. Read the other reviews before choosing. Ideally go with a provider who actually runs the moving services and doesn't just act as a broker.

Do not use this company. . They came to the house and gave a quote of 5K to move us across the US. When the truck driver showed up (3 days late at 9pm at night) he said it would be an additional 6K to move us as the 5K did not have any "profit for his company in the bid". We already paid a 1K down deposit and would lose that so we were forced to use them. When our stuff was delivered it was 90% damaged and broken. They said they would pay us 30 bucks for a 5K couch they destroyed as they do it by the pound and not actual cost of goods. Please do not use this company it is my advice to everyone.

This place is nothing but a scam. My wife and I had to move from across the country. As part of the relocation package for one of our jobs we had to get at least six quotes from moving companies. Pan-American gave us a quote that was about $2,000 lower than the next cheapest (probably should have been a red-flag right there, honestly). Once the mover they hired arrived (Pan-American is a broker, not a mover), they told us it will be $3,000 more than the original quote. I understood that the original quote will never be 100% accurate, but $3,000 more is terrible. They knew we had not choice at that point though and could do what they wanted. We were closing on our house the next morning and had to be out. Plus we had to start our trip across the US to our new home. We called to figure everything out but they just would not listen to anything we said. Instead everyone we spoke with was just condescending and talked in circles. They kept telling us it was our fault becuase the inventory we gave them was not accurate. That is a lie as the mover and myself went through the inventory we gave them and, while it was not 100% correct, it was not that far off (there was a few chairs we forgot to include). They flat out low-balled us on their original quote so we would use them, then used the very illegal bait-and-switch by nearly doubling what their original quote was when we were stuck with literally no other options. Also, as I mentioned before, they a broker, not a mover. They just find a mover to sub-contract and charge the people moving an $800 fee for doing so. They're a middle-man. Skip them, reach out directly to a mover, and save $800 (we would have done this had they not scammed us). Finally, they had six days between when we left our original home and the day we would be able to first receive our things, a date they knew about. Despite nearly a week of lead time, we didn't get our things until six days AFTER our first available date. It took almost two weeks for them to get 20-22 hours away. When they did finally show up, a few things were broken (some dishes, a bookcase, some coffee cups). We used a freight company on our last long-distance move and nothing broke that time. Pan-American is a scam. They are just a middle-man who will rope you in then jack-up their price when you have no other choice, and their employees are very condescending (especially to women. While talking to my wife, one of them actually started a sentence with "I'm sure you're very smart, but...." My wife has a PhD.). Save yourself the $800 they charge and go right to the movers. Avoid them.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I used their service. When I received my stuff, I wasn't able to verify all the stuff which was packed inside the boxes as I wasn't present when movers came to pickup the stuff. Later on, I found out that my iPad and an SLR camera was missing. It's clear that those items were removed and stuff was packed again, as my friend told me he explicitly told movers what he's putting inside. Camera was removed cleverly leaving the camera bag and peripherals intact (which would give you an idea that camera is there at first). I was a late in sending them an email but I didn't get a reply. One word for them, THIEVES, literally. This was my first experience with movers in states and a very bad one. Lesson learnt. Guys, read the reviews beforehand.

If there were a way to give negative stars, I would! This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was lied to continuously. The price of my move tripled. Several of my items were lost or damaged. Nobody will return my multiple calls from pan American or their contract company metro relocations. I have never experienced such terrible customer service!
