My move could not have gone better. Driver Ron was first rate. He arrived on time, was professional, polite, and very accommodating. The loading crew was also exemplary. Our household traveled 1200 miles, and again, arrived on time, and again with an unloading crew that was equally proficient and helpful as the loading crew. And, NO damage at all! First rate move!

Having worked in the business for eight years back in my 20's, I know how things should be done and done correctly. The Crew who loaded my home in Michigan did a great job. The driver and two assistants put down carpet and floor protection as it was a wet day, and were very efficient in getting my goods loaded. Delivery in Florida was just as professionally done. They made sure everything was placed where we wanted and re-assembled correctly. Patrick, the Driver was very professional and his crew members were friendly and very capable gentlemen. My coordinator, Rhonda, kept in touch through the entire process to let me know schedules and to make sure I was satisfied with all aspects of the move. I would recommend this Company to anyone. Stevens Moving and Storage of Detroit packed up my apartment. The crew wrapped everything in the kitchen with special care. Every decorative item, every glass shelf, every kitchen item arrived at my destination unharmed. No item was lost or damaged. The crew was fast and fun to work with. Very polite and accommodating. I'll need to move in 2 years and will arrange for Stevens to pack and move me again.

Moved from MI to TN. Very full, large semi. Approximately 17,000 pounds of residential stuff. Lead man was Patrick... driver and crew chief. Second was Darren who was involved in both loading and unloading. Local personnel in both MI and TN were polite and professional. Great job! My recommendation is to tip your movers well.

We could not have had a more unpleasant experience. Like the previous reviewer I also had to contact the BBB. Shipment was 2 weeks late, no communication at all and refused to reimburse for damages/items that weren't delivered. After helping unload the entire truck in the dark with only one other mover, the driver forced us to sign the landing bill (since it was 11pm) before we were able to go through everything assuring us that we had 90 days to make any claims. This should illustrate how they like to do business: They shipped a box of framed art work separate from our belongings-all of which were damaged beyond repair-and refused any compensation whatsoever citing that they had no record of the shipment. I kept the box that is clearly labeled "Framed Art Work-32lbs" and has a shipment label from "Steven's Vans Lines" printed on the box. When I sent them a picture of the box/shipment label they still denied my claim! Again, they said there was no record. Even with photographed proof they refused. Apparently, the customer is always wrong. What a nightmare. There isn't a price someone could pay me to use this company again.
