We went with this company after we realized that we weren't fit to do it by ourselves and it was an emergency at this point. We moved from a 5 1/2 to another 5 1/2 both on floor 3. First, the movers arrived 3 hours early in the morning when we weren't prepared and had agreed that they were supposed to arrive between 11h and 15h, also no calls to warn us that they were on the way when they said they would call to tell us that the movers were on the way. We helped the best we could with the boxes and our cars while they loaded the heavier things. It took 5 hours and a half to move everything when we had done at least 1/3 of the job ourselves the day before, right before calling them, so some stuff was already done. They charged us their lunch time when we were clearly told they were not supposed to, and we even helped with unwrapping everything as well as folding all of their blankets for protection and so we could save time. One of the movers also decided to start looking into our stuff instead of working at one point!! I called, wrote an email to complain about this and the boss to who I talked barely even responds to you! I left many messages, gave them time to call back! The boss agreed to refund us at least the lunch time, but he didn't even do it! He still has that money that he was suppose to give us back! Seriously, don't do business with those guys, they're just going to steal your money for a crappy job. It's incredible how unprofessional they are in all of this. They don't keep their words at all! We had to pay nearly 2000$ for their bad services!

Used these movers today. Alex, Dan and Andrew worked like machines. They were efficient, careful and courteous. They had my 3 Bedroom house, garage and shed packed out in 3 hours and packed in my new location in another 3 hours. I would use La Capitale again anytime. Thanks guys!!

I want to start by saying that this wasn't my first time using La Capitale, but it definitely was the last time. I moved into a 4 - 1/2 which took 3 and a half hours the first time. Moving out of the same 4 - 1/2, with less than half the stuff, took 5 and a half hours!!! How is that possible? It's very simple actually. I paid for 1 guy to work, 1 to smoke and chat on his phone every 15-20min, and 1 guy to wait around until he was told what to do. It took THREE men over an hour and a half to completely disassemble my fridge to get it to fit through the front door, and after spending all that time on it, they decide to remove my balcony doors and just pass it through there without ever needing to remove anything from the fridge. There were so many more issues with that day, but I'll leave this review as is for now. I sent them an email about the poor and unprofessional experience and I never received a reply, even after speaking to them and being told that it was being looked at (1 month ago). Don't waste your time and money with this incompetent company. Save yourself the headache and stay away from these thieves. I wouldn't recommend La Crapitale to someone I hate.

I liked them and would recommend them. Here's the good and bad: We had to move a medium sized office. GOOD: Flexible and accommodating: The boss met with their rep a year in advance and go a quote. With several other moving firms too. But he did not make up his mind on which one to choose till one month before the move. When we called them, it was last minute but they managed to shuffle things around to help us. Friendly: I helped with the packing up and met the team when they came in. The guys were really hard working and friendly, joking constantly as they worked. Professional: We had several pieces of furniture that were really complicated. They assigned two guys to these, and these guys took real care, even pointing out to us how pre-existing errors from the reassembly after our last move ten years before. Upon arrival at the new office, they repaired the pieces that they themselves had NOT broken, and left us better off than we were before. Responsible: They forgot to move a dozen boxes from one of our storage room. They took care of it a week later. BAD They somehow neglected to move a dozen boxes from one of our storage rooms. Despite this error, which they corrected at their own cost, we all agreed to still give them 5 stars. Everybody makes mistakes. It's how you handle the errors that makes the difference. And the rest of the move was very well executed. We would use them again, and we would recommend them.

I used them to do a move from Montreal to Québec, the sales rep came to our home and gave us a quote ... we showed him everything and he said he would get back to us.. the quote came in around $3300. This, he guaranteed, was for pick up, store and re delivery... The movers came the wrong day with a 1 tonne truck.. we had a 5 bedroom house. First we were not ready to move a day early, and secondly even if we were we needed a much bigger truck. The drivers swore and blamed the sales rep saying he was new. They came the next day with a 53 ft trailer and loaded us without incident..then the fun started, they didn’t realize they would need to unload into storage and reload for a future delivery..again they blamed the sales rep. Then I was told since this wasn’t done correctly on the quote my price went up to $7200, again stupid rep... I really had no choice but to agree. On the day we had scheduled delivery we didn’t see anybody..so after they were 3 hours late I called and was told they had a fire and needed to change trucks... I understand that things happens but was angry they never called me. Several hours later I called again, still no truck..this time I was told that they had a flat tire and they would let me know. They finally arrived the next day, the two guys who unloaded me were great and they were contracted to do the unloading Then we realized that our flat screen TV was dropped and broken. Big vanity mirror was broken and it looked like the boxes and items were literally thrown from the truck (probably during the first unloading in storage) I am doing across Canada move soon and if they had done a good job they would have had my business again...
