Downtown location that is convenient. You can check off all your sports needs at this location. The store is well stocked and arranged. It’s clean and well lit and the staff is friendly and helpful. I work downtown so I come here often just to check out the possible sales. Prices are somewhat expensive but there is value there as they carry brand name Merchandise.

Based on selection of items this location is good. I don't know where to begin. Camping, Kayaks, Water Sports, Hiking, Biking, Clothing, Fitness, and more. One downside is that this indoor climbing wall they have is permanently closed down, maybe it'll be usable again. Great for anyone who lives and enjoys a active lifestyle, or is looking for quality products at reasonable costs.

Wanted to buy a bmx and the bike staff were great!!! Problem was KEVIN the manager thought I was ruining his bmx 🙁 Guess I'll have to buy a bike somewhere else.....anyone got a better place to buy bikes?

They're pretty good sporting good store middle-of-the-road's type of stuff. It's the sort of place that you go when you need to buy stuff for your kids but you don't want to spend a fortune on top-of-the-line stuff. If you really want to get top shelf stuff you go to MEC.

I was there this morning. I had read that there was a big sale on. I inquired about the sale and was told there wasn't one. I said I'd like to look at some shoes. I guess the sales representatives weren't interested in helping me because they all took off somewhere. But I did notice them go running to a couple guys wearing suits. I guess that's their philosophy at sportchek. If you are like me, wearing Levi's, you get lied to about a sale not going on when there was a sale going on, you don't get any help with what you're looking for, but if you're wearing a suit, they are bending head over heels for you. Enjoy your flashsale sportchek. And the loosers in suits. I know my money isn't wanted there. But I'm quite sure both myself and my money will be welcome at your competitor's.
