Brent and Jason attached a number to the back of one of my jerseys. They did a professional job. It doesn't even look like the number was removed. Thanks again.

Super customer service! Can't beat the speedy and personalized service

Great knowledgeable staff. Friendly and helpful. I've been coming here for years for skate sharpening, new hockey gear, and most recently got measured for a replacement stick, which was trimmed by a few inches to suit my frame.

Best hockey speciality shop in greater Vancouver. Staff is very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I don't sharpen skates anywhere else.

Called several places in Burnaby to have Pettersson put on the back of three Canucks jerseys and Scoff's told me over the phone that it would cost $25-$30 per jersey. Upon dropping off the jerseys, I asked the staff again if it would cost $25-$30 per jersey and he gave me a verbal confirmation. Fast forward to today, I get a call that the jerseys are done, only to find out that it ended up costing me $80 per jersey. I was told this has been the pricing for the past ten years. Owner repeatedly said I must've mixed up the pricing with the heat print names and numbers. I know what I heard and the pricing I was quoted over the phone for heat print names and numbers didn't even correspond with the price he specified afterwards. Obviously, because the jerseys are all sewn up now, there's nothing left for me to do other than pay. In sum, avoid going to this shop, but if you're left with no other option, then make sure you have a written quote with the pre-agreed pricing on it so you still have something to fall back on. EDIT: Here's a response via Reddit from one of their excellent staff. Just shows you the type of environment they foster at Scoff's and how much they value customer service and satisfaction. Even if this was an honest mistake that stemmed from miscommunication in the beginning, you don't go about resolving the situation by just telling the customer they misheard and only have themselves to blame. You work with the customer and try to see where the misunderstanding occurred and apologize for the unfortunate mishap. However, none of what I just said matters anyways since I don't believe it was an honest mistake. You tell me $80/jersey after the job has been done but shortly after when another Reddit user calls in and asks, you tell him $110/jersey?? "How much do you wanna bet this ******* **** asked how much to have a name printed on a his jersey, and then showed up and asked to have the name stitched onto the jerseys and numbers stitched onto the back & arms and couldn't figure out why it cost so much. You should post your recording! Or did you show up and realize that you were that ******* ******?"
