Employee there argued with me over my hockey helmet telling me it was expired. I told him it wasn't expired and that CSA doesn't expire, he kept telling me they do and showed me a date of 2014 on the helmet which is the date the helmet was manufactured, not expired. I told him to do a quick google search and he refused and continued to argue with me while being incorrect the whole time, and not wanting to spend 5 seconds to do a quick search to make him even realize. Long story short, if you're dealing with sports equipment, you need to learn the products and dates, and when you're wrong, don't start an argument with the customer. This was extremely frustrating and showed a complete lack of knowledge and complete and total ignorance on the staff's part.

Such a great deal on my ski boots and they are working out so well on the slopes I could not have been more pleased even if paying full price at regular retail.

My wife dropped her skis off here to be waxed & sharpened; they gave her a claim ticket & said they'd phone when they were ready. A couple of days passed, they didn't call, my wife had to work so she handed me the ticket & asked me to collect them. I phoned, was told her skis were ready, and drove to the address printed on the claim ticket, on Old Dollarton Rd. I found the address & their business sign on the street, but after 45 minutes of driving around, walking around, and asking random strangers I was completely unable to find their shop & drove back home empty-handed. I phoned them again & asked "where are you?" only to be told they're actually on Pemberton Ave. What?? I explained what I'd been doing for almost the past hour and suggested that as they'd messed up and provided the completely wrong address on their claim ticket, perhaps they should give my wife a discount on the work. This resulted in my call being transferred to a boss-person, who proceed to inform me (I'm not making this up...) that it was my wife's fault I went to the wrong address! Yes, really. No caring "Sorry we screwed up, we gave you an ancient address and wasted your time & money, what can we do to make it right?" customer service - instead they blamed the victim and told me it was somehow my wife's fault. Unbelievable. So, off I drive again, this time to Pemberton Ave. I give the guy at the counter the claim ticket, he returns with a pair of skis. I take one look and say, "they're the wrong skis; they're not my wife's". He then tells me I'm wrong, he tells me these are the right skis, shows me how the claim ticket numbers match, etc. I'm thinking - "What a mess." I ignore all his protesting and tell him a second time "they're the wrong skis" and explain what my wife's skis look like. He walks away again, returns this time with the correct skis. I pay and depart, making a mental vow never to return.
