Always fun to watch the Red Wings!. The arena is interesting. If you sit in any of the lower levels it’s fine but once you hit the second level area, you better like heights and steep stairs. I went to see a concert there – Elton John. The sound was not great at the top where I sat and when they say obstructed view – boy do they mean obstructed view. I would never buy a ticket in the upper levels there ever – I wouldn’t even go for free if I had my seat in the upper levels.

We went to a Red Wings game. This was the first time in the new Little Cesar's Area. Wow! It is very impressive. It is spacious walking around the perimeter. They have a ton of unique restaurants and bars to suit your needs. I got a bite to eat and the food was fantastic! As expected they have a number of shops to buy team gear. There is a tone of parking close to the arena. Depending on what other events are going on downtown the rates will vary.

The upper deck is a once in a lifetime experience - if you sit there once you won’t want to sit there again in your life.

I miss the Joe but they really hit this one out of the park. Great new location too. Easy to avoid traffic.
